St Anne’s Highgate is one of my two new home towers whilst I am living in the UK. They are a 13cwt eight tuned to… wait for it…. F flat (E). They are a nice eight but are ruined by dreadful tower acoustics, as a result of heavy insulation on the ceiling and walls. A loud thumping noise with every stroke is more prominent than the strike note. They are also a bit tricky to ring with a lot of tow...
