They sounded kind of interesting. Not my usual thing either, but I can appreciate other styles. I don't know if you're looking for more new bands but I have a few, even though I am an old hard rock guy in my mid 60s I am still finding new bands I like. I'll start with Dea Matrona, a classic rock inspired duo from Northern Ireland. The ladies switch off between guitar and bass, share lead vocals, have amazing harmonies and equally impressive on electric guitars covering Cream or Led Zeppelin and then unplugging to cover Simon and Garfunkel or Crosby Stills and Nash. They released their debut earlier this year (all originals) and have an acoustic EP coming out in December. The next artist I'd recommend is Blue Rock singer, guitarist Ally Venable. Ally was inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan and has toured and collaborated with the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, Devon Allman, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and others. Cassidy Paris is next and she's an 80s inspired melodic rocker whose inspiration were the likes of Joan Jett, Lita Ford and Pat Benatar to name a few. All up and coming female artists. All rock but each a little different. You may want to check them out.

Heeey! Thank you soo much for listening to The Haunted and we're ecstatic that you love it as much as we do! Let us answer a couple of the questions you had in the video: 1) The verses utilize a lot of flanger on guitar to vary the feel and allow the distorted guitar and bass to punch through as well. Jon has a lot of pedal board hopping live for the verses! (a lot of the synth sound is actually guitar effects in the bridge) 2) To us Rio's vocals are the star of this track alongside the immense work that Jay puts in with the drums so although there is supporting vocals in the chorus for Rio it's purposely subtle to allow her vocals room to breathe and honestly her power alone is enough most of the time! 3) We've already addressed the 'lonely feeling' in the middle section as we found it ourselves after we had finished in the studio so keep an eye out on some future songs! again thank you soo much for listening and enjoying the song with us! We can't wait to see you and Ben at a show again!
