Promises are only made by God Himself never by man throughout all the Sciptures except, Nehemiah 5:23 and Joshua 9:21, where man made a promise for a negative outcome. So, we see from Scripture mans promises result in a bad outcome. Beware of the promises made to you by man saying, I promise, in behalf of the God of Jacob, the Scriptures warn us. And marrying the dead in temples? Where does God say to marry the dead? Look around. We're fighting over public bathrooms and who can play sports, etc., etc. God never told us to marry the dead only to baptize for the dead. And God warns us to do according to that which is written marrying the dead is not written. (D&C 84:57) ...the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation...(2 Timothy 3:15) If ye love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)

LDS Friends, because your doctrine of Christ, the Most Holy Trinity and other central doctrines of Orthodox Christianity are false then your faith in Jesus is gravely lacking.

What does need to happen before the return of Jesus is he will have to go to his house in Salt Lake City, and as he cleansed the Temple in an earlier time, he will have to cleanse his house in SLC from the Corruption that has grown up in it. I can only speak for myself and what that church has done to me. In 1991 a Leader from that church LIED about me and my Family Friendly Convenience Store here in Ogden Utah. *What was the lie? I was selling several “Patriot Books” and my number 1 Patriot Book was by Ezra Taft Benson. So here’s how it went down: A Relief Society Leader, trained by these guys down on SLC, came by my store and had me run off her copies of her Sunday lesson. When I finished her order I automatically put atop the stack of copies my latest flyer featuring Ezra and his book. She immediately pointed at his face and said: [Quote]-“If you don’t STOP selling this Crap, we’re Not coming back!” I said: “This is my store and I’ll sell what I like!” And she put the pedal to the medal and sped off. (She did pay for the copies), but I was a little out of joint you might say, and I tried to dismiss the whole affair. That was on a really nice Saturday in April 1991. By Monday my business was Completely Dead!!! I learned several weeks later that that horrible woman, (a So-Called Saint), had gone back to the church house she had come from and preached at the pulpit of that church house and then spread the same Lie all about to other church houses that; “My Store was an ANTI-MORMON book store, and that her followers, (Mormons), were Not to go there!” And with that LIE in hand the so-called saints of this community spread the Lie far and wide and boycotted my nice store for over 12 plus years till I was finally run out of business! My store which I started for the blessing of my family, that I wanted to stand for many generations to come, was run out in about 12 years of Lying from that church. They cost me several hundred thousand dollars over the 12 years that they lied about me and my nice store! They Stole Away My Future! As I said, I can only speak for myself. However If they've done this to me, I am Very sure that they have done this or something similar to Many others! That Corrupt Multi-Billion Dollar Corporation, (30 plus years later), now owes me approximately $15 Million! I cannot align myself nor associate my family name with that Corporation till the day arrives when they make Full RESTITUTION for what they stole! They are Liars & Thieves plain and simple! I have written letters to Everyone of their Corporate CEO's since Hinkley took over, and all I've gotten is Threats! And I am sorry that They feel this way. That They are above the Laws of God. And so, if Jesus is really in charge of that Corporation and he wants me back as they are always saying; “Come Back, Come Back…” then RESTITUTION is going to have to be made! Otherwise I will NEVER come back! I may end up going down to SLC to see Jesus in person when and if he returns, and ask him personally for the RESTITUTION that is owed to me and my family. I really feel sorry for simple minded people who let that Corporation fool them again and again, and keep on paying them money. I've personally tried the Tithing thing again and again and again myself, but it’s Never gotten me anywhere, all that's happened is I've lost money! Every time that I have gotten hyped up and thought, Oh Boy, I can pay'em money and get that Big Blessing! I can have a Future again! I can provide well for my family, I can get Land and get away from these evil cities! It never works out, all I get is Poorer and poorer and poorer! So I really do hope that Jesus comes SOON and runs out those Lying Money Changers down in SLC and there can be Honest leadership installed in that church. I believe in the Gospel as taught by my Great, Great, Great Grandfather Parley P. Pratt and for his sake I’ll not remove my name from the church as they want me to. Also, I still Pray Day & Night for Jesus to come and the Financial Miracle to happen for me and mine! But after 30 plus years, No Dice! I also Pray Day & Night for the Protection of my Great President Donald J. Trump and also for his fine Family! As it was in answer to my humble prayer almost 20 years ago that God heard me and made him Our President, and the he heard me again just in the last few months and gave my President a Landslide win just as I asked him for! I Pray that America can be cleansed of the evils & Evil doers clouding the future for all Amer-I-Cans and I pray that a Great day of Reconciliation and Love and RESTITUTION will come Real soon! So..Not True! It is our Faith in Jesus that Saves us..not a church. The church gave me great doubt and feeling of unworthiness with their many commandments of men that I was required to meet 😊❤

Can we just stop? Since when does the church present anything about the church as run down, in ill repair, paint peeling, steering not working correctly, etc.? Why the ridiculously unrealistic scenario? No one rescued in an ocean situation you describe is going to ask to be put back into the ocean. This is ridiculous. It would have been more accurate to portray the rescuing captain as someone who picks you up and then when you say something he doesn't like, picks you up and flings you overboard. Now that would accurately represent what often happens in the church. Or the captain hands you a set of rules, clothing to wear, and jobs to do, asks you to empty your pockets, and says, "I'll get you to shore, but only if you do exactly what I tell you and work for me. If you deviate from any of this, I'll throw you overboard." That, too, would have been far more accurate.

I too know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ restored on earth. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior.

I think Life lessons are going to be extremely helpful to the youth. Our youth are in much need of lessons that will help them in this dispensation. There is so much they have to deal with and yes, they need to know how to handle situations that cross their path.

I also appreciate how everything you suggest helps us focus on Jesus Christ, especially this chapter. Had we read through the story, it would have taken most of the class period. I never get tired of hearing, seeing and watching President Nelson speak. I love him and what he has to say. I am a child of God. I can become a joint heir with Jesus Christ. I am in charge of my testimony.I live in the Dispensation where Nothing will be withheld. It’s up to me to delve deeper into learning more about Jesus Christ and his gospel. I will keep my covenants. As I continue on my journey through life I will take President Nelson’s words to heart.

I encourage all to read Hebrews 7. Jesus is the great high priest for all who receive life eternal with God by faith in the promise of God. He was appointed by God to intercede for all who have trusted His promise.

Only thing I disagree with is the different race part. There is only the human race. I love you.

I was able to get my mother sealed to my Dad before she passed 2 years ago. Plus, get me and my brother, who passed sealed 17 years ago, sealed to them. My Dad passed 5 years before my Mom. Plus, two of my 5 children have come back to the church. My two younger son's.

Where does the video start about the parable of the coats?

I have no desire at all to gather Israel. First, what would I be gathering Israel to? If gathering Israel means urging non-members to join my local wards and stake, I cannot in good conscience do that. I know with perfect knowledge that my ward and stake contain men and women who are engaged in breaking the laws of the land, they are abusing their spouses and children, they are going to court and commiting perjury, and they are aiding and abetting in the continued abuse of defenseless minor children. Their actions have been reported to church authorities and reports have been filed with civil law enforcement. Neither church authorities nor civil law enforcement is doing anything at all to investigate the abuse and administer the full force of the law to correct and reduce incidents of abuse, and bring to justice the perpetrators. I cannot recommend my stake congregations to anyone as places of peace and safety, nor can I recommend them as groups which "will never fail you," as president Nelson has told everyone. I cannot gather anyone to my local branches, wards, and stake with confidence that they will be introduced to the true gospel of Jesus Christ where both the laws of the land and the laws of God are obeyed. Currently that principle is being broken on a daily basis. Second, I have no idea who I appeal to for redress of this wrong. Church leaders as high up as President Nelson have been informed of the situation. It's being ignored in the very best good ol' boys network fashion. I'm just not sure where to report to in the church to find some scrap of Christ-like integrity and behavior I can introduce new converts to. So, no, I think I'll give it a pass until the church gets its house in order.
