Should Fox GIVE UP on the ALIEN franchise???
No hesitation. Death Wish 3. I’m not even sure the Breakin’ *soundtrack* is better than Death Wish 3’s.
YES! THANK YOU!!! 100% agree. Death Wish 2 soundtrack by Jimmy Page was killer, too!
Thats easy Mr. MOM
😂😂😂
Props fellas, this is great. Good stuff 👏
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Awesome episode! All your episodes have been right in my wheelhouse and super entertaining. Just wanted to give a shout out to Procreate in your animation episode, such a great app. I remember wanting a Wacom Cintiq before the iPad Pro & Procreate was a thing, the Cintiq was hella expensive let alone the software etc. Anyways just wanted to comment for the algorithm and looking forward to more episodes and more Brack downs.
Thanks so much!!! Glad to have you! If it's any help, the Cintiq I use at home is refurbished. My Mac is refurbished as well. I rarely buy them new. Saves $$$ and you can often get a warranty with them as well.
@altruismisgone Thanks!
It kind of seems like a lot of other RUclipsrs doing movie stuff just read off a Wikipedia page (not saying that they do but it really feels like it) so watching you guys know your stuff and riffing off the top is really entertaining and really a breathe of fresh air compared to a lot of others. Like bringing up The Hitchhiker, even though I was born in 82, that definitely jogged some memories and was talking with my older brother about that.
Ya blew it, again. American Ninja sucks all the dongs. But I still watched your whole show and enjoyed it.
Yer damn right it does! All of them!!!
American Ninja does NOT suck ANY of the dongs… (in my dong suckin’ opinion (not that I suck dongs))
Brother was in some jams, but man had you put Masters of the Universe and Invasion USA, he might’ve exploded! Oh yeah, and I still feel guilty about tormenting my bro in that theater during American Ninja. “Jyoe,” said the asshole brother.
I was afraid he’d put 52 Pickup in there, which I’ve never seen, and I didn’t want another The Fog hate fest on my person. Instead his research team added a shitload of NON Cannon Films 🙄 Don’t feel guilty! I look back at the ‘Jyoe Incident’ with hilarious, rose colored glasses, brother!
Fantastic Episode! I grew up on these films, probably why I am a mediocre indie director 😂
It sounds like your movies would be well received by us here at HNH!
ty HNH, my number one source of entertainment!!
You're welcome!
Love the new studio, guys.
Thanks!
I won't be satisfied until there's at least one bleep in every sentence. And some sentences should consist only of bleeps.
😂😂😂
Hmmm. Y'know, that sounds crazy enough to work! Thanks!
Hey just so you know, the audio cuts out when Jeff says his arch-nemesis' name!
Thanks for the heads up! I'll have our Sound Engineer take a look and see what happened!
😂😂😂
The only problem with Godzilla 98 was no Godzooky.
So troo.
Fun Fact: Godzooky was originally supposed to be Godzilla’s brother-in-law from Detroit. But his accent proved too difficult to understand so they made him a mute whom audiences mistook for Godzilla’s son. The more you know..! 💩🫱
I think it could have used Dum Dum Dugan and his helicarrier. But what do I know?
Okay, when will we be getting a BTS/Green Room episode? Curious to know if Jeff is treated like a god, Demi-god, or as an animator in the green room!
Not a bad idea! Unfortunately the HNH Green Room is a den of sin full of many "illegal" activities which may get us in trouble with the Hollywood PD. You won't find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than our Green Room.
Witch Taiiiinnnntttt!!!! Fun short, btw!
Thanks!
You gotta keep doing these live reels reactions! 😂
That's the plan, Stan!
The production value and the chemistry you two have makes this show top tier! 👏
Thanks! Your comment means a lot to us! We are hoping to get even better and better!
Yes, you may suggest 🙏
Or Hey Check This Out! Or Under the Radar! Or Hey Watch This!
The Shining is still the scariest film I’ve ever seen, this will never change 😱
I have to say, Jeff's assertion that the skeleton scene in The Shining is just goofy looking in the present day is just... goofy.
@@MustacheManMedia (Not as goofy as that goofy music the editor added)
Ahahaha! This is great! Had me LOL’ing! 🏆👏
Glad you enjoyed it!
Since this is the first comment, can we all pretend i said something clever worthy of a bunch of likes? Thanks.
Who's pretending? You get a standing slow-clap for that comment!
He's a psycho in that. Great movie 2nd i liked as well
Check out Day of the Animals (1977) for another psychotic version of Leslie Nielsen. If I remember correctly he's a raging, wife abusing, a$$hole who you are just waiting to see get gobbled up by the crazy animals.
I can’t even count the number of times I told the electricity joke on my shows over the years! Did you hear why Mickey Mouse is divorcing Minnie Mouse? Do you like to have sex, do you like to fly?
Now you gotta bring back the insult, “you DOLT!”.
Nolo comprenda ?? Amego 😊😂
¡Somos americanos estúpidos!😔😂
My mom always thought the Grateful Dead was a metal band because of their name and their imagery. She was shocked when she realized it was hippie music!😂😂😂
HA! EXACTLY!!!
I immediately purchased Mad Monster Party after watching this show.
Really? Awesome! MMP deserves to be purchased immediately after this, or any show.
You mean the animated SPECIAL, right? Cuz it's NOT a movie, right?
@@MustacheManMediaI don’t throw around the word crazy too often, but you’re nuckin’ FUTS!
Thanks @mustachemanmedia for the lovely motel room and potato chips! I especially enjoyed meeting John Carpenter and Quentin Tarantino afterwards at the world famous Casa Vega restaurant! It was difficult watching them have sex at first, but then it got OK.
Surprised that you liked Quartermass and the Pit better than Prince of Darkness but hey...
@@MustacheManMediaHey! I shared that with you OFF THE RECORD! Some talk show host you is! I’m gonna soo!
I don't like a lot of things but I don't post videos about it because no one gives a f*** what you don't like.
We here at HNH apologize for posting videos about things we don’t like. We will now just post YT comments about things we don’t like instead. Thanks!
Cool video Cue Ball
Thanks!!!
Poor oldass haters with no depth. Keep it skin deep, you don't have much longer on this Earth anyway. 💀🤡👎👎
Dang! I’m only 32!
@MustacheManMedia referring to the bitter AHs in the video.
@@buknekkit3084 but I AM the bitter AH in this video!😭😥😞☠
Wasnt a dirty hippy till i learned what most music was missing
Serious question, what would you consider as a band that you were previously missing out on that changed your thought process? There’s obviously some good “hippy” music out there and to argue that Hendrix wasn’t probably the greatest to strap on a guitar is crazy.
@MustacheManMedia Sturgill Simpsons "Dood and Juanita" album in particular, I lost a good hound about a month after it came out and those songs carry more weight than I can bare
I like Sturgill. I remember listening to Sound & Fury all the way through. Some really good stuff. Sorry to hear about your pup. As a dog lover I've been there. It hits hard.
In my 50s, been a Phishhead since the 90s but i have never been able to "hear' the Dead the way others obviously hear them. I find it so strange that you either possess this gift , or you don't, but I know of very few who could even learn to love it. It's either there from the very first second, or you're lying to yourself for decades.
Well said!
Manchester was a cool guest, had a great three films. This Mad Monster Party negativity will not stand. I can attest that my dear brother and I saw Mad Monster Party at the theater one summer during a children’s matinee marathon. In the immortal words of John “Elephant Man”Merrill, “I AM NOT A SHOW, I AM A MOVIE.“ Great episode. Looks like I have homework to do thanks to Andy!!
If you enjoyed David Manchester as a guest be sure to check out his newest installment of his Casey Blazer made-for-tv murder mysteries, "The Saints Go Marchin' "! (Don't get his album tho. That kinda sucks)
I don't remember that! Which theater did we see it in? The Wescove? The Eastland? The Fox?!?! Take it easy on MustacheMan tho, he doesn't know the difference between a film and a tv show. He's losing some of his mental faculties these days, as he is currently experiencing the twilight of his years... the bald weirdo.
Absolutely, Mad Monster Party, I wish it was a better special. I still watch it. De Niro’s Monster is awesome, he keeps switching between a monster voice and a NYC accent. I think all of mine would be 30s/40s Universal. But, what do you think about The Autopsy of Jane Doe?
I LOOOOVED The Autopsy of Jane Doe! First time I saw it I was falling asleep. Went back and watched it while I was wide awake and was blown away. I saw something with the filmmakers saying they wanted to make a movie where the killer/antagonist never moves a muscle. To me that's a brilliant premise if you can pull it off and they totally did.
@@MustacheManMediathat premise sounds like the premise of 1978’s PATRICK…
At last, a new guest! I for one hope we get to see more of this "David Manchester".
Then make sure to watch David Manchester starring in the latest Casey Blazer made-for-tv murder mystery movie "The Saint's Go Marchin'"!
@@MustacheManMedia it’s kind of a difficult watch, what with all the BF-ing…
Used to come to this RUclips Channel for the Mustache Man and have now been hooked on Jeff Allen. Jeff Allen is my new Spirit Animal!
Sadly Jeff Allen wasn't in this one because he showed up late for this episode. We may try and book him as a guest in the near future!
Thanks man! Wow, I was barely even in this episode… but I swear by Rondo Hatton’s Skull, I will do my best to fulfill all my your Spirit Animal duties!
Please do not stop making these. I am surprised the algorithm hasn’t picked this up more. You guys are speaking my language. I mean, I’m 43, so I agree with many of your takes and opinions, but I follow and watch many film critique and opinion channels, and you guys do a great job in your presentation. The content is superb. Don’t stop rocking. Also, I showed my girlfriend Return of the Living Dead, and she loved it despite her not being a horror hound like myself. I would’ve liked to have seen Fright Night on this list. Also a very fun watch that’s extremely well done.
Thank you SO much! And man, what a great suggestion! Fright Night TOTALLY should have been on that list given that it has a sequel AND a remake. Plus it's an awesome film! It's frustrating because after we filmed I thought of many other films that could have been added. Gremlins, ReAnimator, Hellraiser, etc. I could probably keep going. Anyway, you keep watching and we'll keep crankin' em' out!
Thanks @distinguishedcatfish ! Holy moly that is great to hear! Very encouraging and very much appreciated/needed!
Just bad. Dont bastardize Norm.
Agreed! This is terrible.
Echo location is really the only logical reason, other than it literally just functioning like a growl or bark…
That's a pretty good point actually! But when vampires, and ghosts, and zombies, and clowns, and aliens, etc. make that sound. Ugh.
@@MustacheManMedia lol for sure…. It’s like the Inception “bwaaahhhhhh” noise…. Something made the sound popular, now it’s everywhere…. And that clicker noise is for sure a current trend
But if it was echo location, they'd see the characters that will be standing right in front of them. But so long as the characters don't move, the monsters never "see" them
@@aaronalbertson8670I mean, I was referring to the general collection of monsters that make that noise in modern media… not specifically these ones
@@BlackOpMercyGaming aaaahhhhh That makes sense
Excellent choice of bits to initiate! Not bad. Not bad at all. Norm MacDonald is the best! Thank you for this. Subscribed as a result of this. XOXO Keep it coming.
Thanks so much for the sub!!! We have a bunch more coming! And yes, Norm was the best!!!
Not a fan of Shudder Originals, but this one was a great surprise. Would also recommend The Beach House, which was also a surprisingly good one.
I DID see The Beach House! It's been years so I'm barely remembering it but I do remember being entertained. Howabout "Anything for Jackson"? Have you seen that Shudder Original? I'd say I loved that as much as In a Violent Nature!
@@MustacheManMedia Hi! I haven't seen "Anything for Jackson" but will give it a look based on your recommendation. I'm 57, grew up watching this stuff like you and Geoff, mostly when they first hit theaters. My dad, RIP, took me to see "Halloween", "Alien" and "The Shining" all during their initial runs. Finally, at agde 15 in 82 I finally figured out a way to sneak into them at the local mom and pop theater that showed them. "Beach House" had great atmosphere with that mysterious fog that settled in, trapping them. Really enjoy your bracket videos but would also love to see more single title segments like this one. Thanks.
I'm sure you can make something of the cloaca.
I hope Jeff doesn't see this comment! He's always trying to make something of my cloaca!
Wow, just stumbled across this and I must say you broke my heart at the end! Return of the Living Dead is my all time favorite horror movie, but I am glad to see it get so high in your ranking. Also, holy crap, Geof Darrow is my favorite artist and I seen on the IMDb page you worked on Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot cartoon? I never knew an animated show ever existed. Anyways, heartbreak aside, this series is really good and well produced, and now I am going to binge watch your other episodes.
Thank you SO MUCH! You are the type of viewer we were hoping to find! Maybe in a future episode we will discuss some behind the scenes stories about working in TV animation, including The Big Guy & Rusty!
I broke my own heart having to choose between those two classics! Ultimately I had to judge them as a series, and since I love the original, Part 2, AND The Next Generation, I HAD to choose Chainsaw. But it was MustacheMan’s fault! He put me in that Kobayashi Maru situation! BLAME HIM!
Man, so close, Jeff! Return of The Living Dead is the best! But at least you struggled with it.... Respect.
I know! It IS the best! But being in the Hollywood Night Heat Hot Seat is quite the most brutal experience when you’re Brackin’ it Down with that bald weerdo lookin’ atcha!
Another fantastic episode!! I was very pleased about your service announcement halfway thru the presentation. I have been getting a little offended by your guests blatant and fucking abnormal overuse of the fucking use of the fucking words THE EVIL DEAD so I was pleased that Jeff fucking omitted that from the fucking broadcast. Thank Fuck.
Jeffrey Dahmer also liked Exorcist 3
Perhaps we're related..? We do share a name after all...
Riley if you’re out there, thanks again! I sold your drawing on eBay and got 4 dollars for it! Send me another one to replace the one I sold for 4 dollars. Your favorite ggest, Jeff.
Captured you both beautifully.
