The THS Marching Tiger Band traveled to Mt. Pleasant on Staurday, October 13 to perform in the NE Texas Marching Festival. After taking 1st division ratings accross the board and being named Outstanding Band in Class 4A, the band performed again in the finals, taking the top spot over 28 other bands in the contest.

First performance of the contest by the host band, the ever popular THS Marching Tiger Band! Through cole, biting wind and under overcast skies, the band set the mark high for the rest of the day. Afterwards, a good portion of the performers worked the contest as monitors, escorts and concession workers. Great job by everyone!!!

what a rush this must have been to perform.
Loved this show. Nothing captures summer drum corps tour like the sound of a horn release from a ballad, and hearing those crickets in the warm evening air.

@@johnstercho1081, I think that perceived hesitation could've been a stylistic choice- a ritardando or something. They still hit together on the downbeat. Plus, there's likely some form of sound lag, given the distance.
@@leanwil1483 they're not talking about the music, a dude in the guard dropped his rifle and it landed like 20 ft away from where he was. He runs to pick it up but maintains the choreography
