Really interesting and approachable (hopefully, like the furniture!) - thanks
Great channel
1:20 we can confirm that no usable chairs were harmed in the making of this film.
i've never been more hype for a youtube channel ❤🔥
that video let me spechlees; what about something like office supplies or mstylish magazines racks..i´dont know whatever for SOHO environtment!
man living mylife lol! What an inspiration to see this, as I'm being burnt out with all my design concepts this video pops through and invigorates my desires again! Thanks!!
Have the Eames' plywood chair patents expired, or what?
Is this Loyd Christmas’s moped ?
I went to the showroom for our office furniture supply vendor. It amazed me how much of the stuff looked nice, but was absolutely god awful to actually use. I kept wondering 'did no one actually build a prototype before putting this into production?' Glad to see someone who is doing iteration before going into to production. Unfortunately so many people buy out of catalogues, brochures, or online stores. It's really a terrible way to buy furniture.
fantastic. I know, this is just some comment on some video. But ive watched thousands of videos on this platform, maybe yet alone on art, design and production and can fairly say this was simply fantastic. class designer with great passion and vision for his craft. thanks for this, cheers from vienna.
I was missing something this honest. Loved it!
Excellent, all around. Subscribed 😊

Next episode is coming out in 3 weeks featuring Chris Martin (not Coldplay Chris) from Massprodcutions an amazing Swedish brand
Thank you so much for this. It's rare to see something this useful, to the point, honest and inspirational on youtube. I'm inspired by and somewhat envious of John Trees working practice :') Beautiful shapes, simplicity and style. Thanks again to everyone involved with making this happen. Will be on the lookout for more! Subbed, that's for sure.
Question: one thing us aspiring designers are always wondering about is how someone got started and about their work rituals and work ethic. Personally I'd be delighted if questions like that would be answered. However, I'm also very content with the current format so do not consider this a criticism or complaint, just the questions that are always in the back of my mind. Money is, too, but I think that to be too vulnerable a subject to discuss on YT. Plus as a designer I might be a niche audience.
Money is a tricky one to talk about, but thanks for the comment we certainly will speak more about how people made it or are making it. Really does seem to be right time, right place, right activity, right drive, right relationships you have to show the world your work - they're not going to come to you. I always say to young designers, if you want to become a designer, then design, don't wait for a mentor, build. It's not going to be easy, even the few that make it look easy are grafters. Don't be scared to put yourself, work, and style out there. Start a collective who can support each other, learn techniques and lean on each other for design inspiration, job leads and marketing. You'll notice, people I speak to in the series won't be "young" in most cases especially these days it can take years to be happy in your design space, and make a living. Very few make a living purely from design, fewer are rich. If you want it, get the fuck out there, knock down some doors and most importantly design for the world not you - what problem is your object solving and can it be commercial? if it can't be easily produced, at a reasonable cost, there's no money or profit there for you or a brand. Design like Salesperson and a Consumer, show off your story like a Marketing Manager. The most financially successful artists successfully sell themselves.
Great designer, great person, great video!
The type of design content we've been waiting for years: simple, honest, informative, and inspiring
Thanks for your comment, sir - exactly what we're going for. We may not have a huge production budget, but we'll always strive to be real and honest. No filters, no fake questions.
Agreed! Looking forward to more..
Absolutely love this!! 👏
