Damn I love the vocal melody at 0:42. Everytime I listen to this track on its own, I have to add it myself. It's somewhere between the Mini-Korg line at the end of "Just What I Needed" by The Cars and Ronnie Spector at the end of Eddie Money's "Take Me Home Tonight" but somehow neither of those at the same time. Ariel is a pop master.

This song is just perfect!!!

One of my favorites from him. It's always cool to hear his live band play something from the old albums. Kinda breathes new life into the songs, and makes it easier for the uninitiated to recognize the quality of the music that was lurking beneath all that lo-fi haze... Glad to see he's still going strong and still has a loyal audience. Although he was very publicly condemned by his label and whatnot for what seemed like nothing more than being a bystander, and maybe saying some dumb shit now and then... I had to think he would bounce back eventually and still have an audience. I mean, if someone like Kanye were subject to the same repercussions for all the stupid shit he's said and done, he woulda been "cancelled" 10 times over by now. If everyone had been so offended by Jim Morrison passing out or whipping out his cock on stage as to let it interfere with their enjoyment of the music, we might not be able to enjoy the Doors today. If musicians throughout history, from Gesualdo to Manson to Da Baby can still find an audience after committing murder... Chuck Berry, Gary Glitter, R. Kelly, Michael Jackson (allegedly)... well, I'll leave it at that...
