Yeah certainly a lot different than dragster. And you can barely see the launch track at all until you're right up in the station

I decided to take a few trips last summer to visit several parks. I sure wish I lived on a theme park though 😅 I have to travel pretty far to get to these places

Never heard of this ride being in boost mode. And yeah you wanna get there early while they've got it running. Ride it while you can! I am yet to go to this park and have a day where Ka doesn't break down or end up already being closed for the whole day.

Once it starts, it's over so quick. You don't even have time to be scared 😅

If you have done those rides you would definitely be fine riding steel vengeance! Once I was actually on the ride the drop felt like nothing and wasn't scary.

@@blathersb what is it like though, I hear you float out of your seat but I felt like I did on magnum too and they are the same height, maybe it’s the steepness that scares or cause it’s a new ride that I haven’t done before

I in no way want to scare you away from riding Steel Vengeance, because it's almost a life-changing experience that you SHOULD ride. But! The I found the drop on Steel Vengeance to be much, much more intense than Maverick or Magnum. It kinda has the whip or Maverick, but the height of Magnum To be more descriptive, it's a very fast and smooth acceleration (especially in the back rows) and it points you straight down, so you're pressed against your seat as you drop. The angle is pretty sudden, so it speeds up about twice as fast as Magnum. I personally get freaked out because there's nothing to hold on to as you dtop, but you might be fine with that haha. Whatever the case, do not pass up a chance to ride this thing. It is by far the most intense coaster at Cedar Point, and is an experience that should not be passed up

Some of these rides totally can beat you up but it's always great fun 😅

Always ride the back seat, you get the whipping effect over the first drop. It's the best feeling.

I always wonder how wood coasters change over the years. It was flying over some of those small hills. I'm sure its probably not the same as when it was first built

​@Iblathersb It wasn't. I've been riding Blue Streak since 1968, and was my 1st Rollercoaster experience at age 9. With all of the changes done with the Operating Systems, Computer, The additional weight of The Trains, and Anchoring more Wood between the Main Track Ledgers, is the main reason for the increase in The Train Speeds. What I don't understand is the lack of Hand Grip Bars behind each seat of The Train Cars, and On the other side of the face of each lead Car. Like what you'd see on Shivering Timbers, and Comet at Great Escape in New York State.

I went to cedar point, really wanted to do this but got scared, I’ve done maverick, magnum and raptor so fsr is this any scarier
