Hi, good evening! According to anua.us, this serum is made for all skin type. this serum also has 50 ingredients in it (which “may” be harsh for your skin condition). My best advise would be, see a dermatologist as they are the masters when it comes to our skin issues. Sometimes pimple is triggered by so many factors, reason why it is still best to see a dermatologist. I hope this helps. Also, certain products / ingredients cannot be used by everyone as we all are different unless, you got a go signal from your doctor that it is safe for you ti use it/them.

@@pablofernandez6524 I personally suggest to cleanse before applying it to avoid any build up from all the products you applied at night. if you have a clean canvas, it will be absorbed thoroughly by your skin. This are just my suggestions but whatever works for you of course. :)

@@pablofernandez6524 monitor your skin for a week or two. Use the serum first then apply a gentle moisturizer, then sunscreen. That’s it. Less is more. Did you let your skin rest for a week or two from your previous skincare products before using the Anua serum? Because sometimes, if you don’t let it rest and introduced a new product, your skin will react.

@@pablofernandez6524 you can also use the anua serum at night. If you notice that your skin is purging after 2 of weeks of use, then this might not be the serum for you. In skincare, it is really a trial and error, and it doesn’t mean that the product is not effective, its just that your skin is not compatible with it. In addition, sometimes, the acne is acting up because of the food we eat and our lifestyle. So you really need to monitor and experiment what works for you and what’s not. :)

@@ZayakaTorrente thank you so much! I have a very minimal routine. In the morning I wash with water then shave then put the serum and after moisturiser and spf. At night I just use a salicylic acid cleanser and a moisturiser. I have notice my marks already looking a bit better but the only thing that is annoying me a bunch of little pimples along my chin and a bit on my cheek and neck. But I will monitor it for a week or two and let you know. Thank you again!

@@techcell3032 According to the medicalnewstoday.com “A 2022 study also notes that 10% TXA can be an effective treatment for reducing acne inflammation and skin redness.” But as a rule of thumb, before starting with a new routine or incorporating a new product to your routine, it is still best to consult your doctor as everyone of us has different skin history, skin types and skin conditions. Doctor knows best. 😊

@@bashyeralalrashed1839 give it 30 sec-1 min, to set and once it sets, you will not feel it anymore. I am also not a fan of sticky skincare as I feel like all the dust clings on my skin but with this one, I can use it without any uncomfortable feeling. Hope that helps ☺️

If the acne scars are old, I don't think it'll help. On active acne, in my experience using this, it helps as it sooths inflamations and doesn't leave a strong hyperpigmentation once it's heal. I have acne prone and hormonal acne.

For hyperpigmentation, other than vitamin c, we can look for Kojic acid, tranexamic acid, allantoin and vit E while incorporating glycolic(dry skin) or lactic acid(sensitive skin) in routine. For dermatologist advice, I can only suggest Dr.shereene idriss as she has more professional input about it. Currently I'm using Sekkisei line, Melano CC Spot treatment and Acne Pair
