It’s most likely acclimating. Alocasia tend to look worse before they better in pon. Or either it’s too much water in the cache pot.

On 2nd thought thts probably a good thing sonce u planted it in all orchid bark beautiful tree mins is a mini version of a large one

That brand of orchid bark has moss in it tht retains moisture it will kill tht plant if u water it too kften

Can’t help with the Pon situation because my Nebula is in soil. Haven’t had any issues.

What did you do? Mine is doing the same after putting it in perlite.

Did you remove all the dirt from the roots before you planted into the pon? How is the plant doing now that it's been 3 months?

That’s a ginormous cache pot…how much water are you leaving in the bottom? Also…what is the humidity situation? I’m no Alocasia whisperer but the 2 I have been able to keep alive…Lol…they’re super fond of the humidity. I try to keep them near the humidifiers. Need to see a longer video. lol Just want to see more about the conditions…and definitely want to see a follow up if you feel comfortable.

Put it in a glass of water after rinsing off all soil. I saved a calathia that way. Then after 1 months or so put it back in pon and top water 1-2 times a week 0.5-1 cup water each time Don’t use water reservoir for 4-6 months

I just picked up one of these today, also not labeled. She was bone dry at the store, and really wilted. I gave her a good drink, and within a couple hours, she perked right up. I posted pics in my plant group, sure enough, they said it was a Nebula. Has the same burgundy back, and spotted stems 🥰

You're not crazy but water should not be coming out of that joint. You would get more water faster if you go to the bottom of the downspout.
