Deligating jobs around this house is so important and you guys will be SO glad you did this if you ever have children. It certainly makes the transition into parenthood easier when you're already comfortable with your roles. Everyone's experience in their first year is so unique. We had already been together 4 years and lived together for 3.5 when we were married so it didn't feel like a huge change for us. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Thanks Zara! That’s so true, and is something we talk about all the time! How each stage of life brings a new set of challenges and these first few years are when it’s super important to lay down the foundations so we are ready for those next stages. And yes also true with everyone having different experiences! That’s a beautiful thing, that we can all learn a little from each other because of how different each marriage is.
