We are Irvine & Karen and we love roaming around in our Carthago Chic C Line XL LE motorhome. We have created this channel to share our adventures in the hope that it will give inspiration to others to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Our motto is "Live today like there could be no tomorrow". We hope you enjoy our channel.
We drive the North Coast of Spain to Cudillero then through the Picos de Europa to the city of León
In this video we travel along the North Coast of Spain from San Sebastián to Cudillero then through the Picos de Europa to the beautiful city of León. We come across some beautiful Arabian/Spanish horses and are in awe at the stunning Cathedral in León.

@@earlyretirementwanderlust Ahh thank you guys. I started to learn Spanish almost 9 years ago when I retired and for the last 3 years I speak to a lady from Argentina once a week. She is learning English so we help each other with the languages. I did speak to the lady at the church for a lot longer in Spanish but decided it was too long for the video so cut out the rest. I do love trying to improve. There will be more of the Ruta del Cares in an upcoming video so that will bring back more memories for you guys. Nice review, your motorhome is an absolute beauty. I used to get low engine battery warnings from the tracker/alarm when the van wasn't used for a while, especially over winter. My solar controller only feeds the leisure battery so I fitted a Battery Maintainer which trickle charges the engine battery from the leisure battery when it detects excess power available. Ablemail, Van Bitz and Sterling all make BMs with varying features. Happy travels.

Hi, great videos! Do you mind me asking how long 'Nessie' is please? We're heading from Lake Annecy to Lake Garda in September and are thinking of visiting this Chamonix site. Our Le Voyageur motorhome is 7.91m, so just trying to establish how tight things might be. Thank you.
@@apritch476 Hi, Nessie is 8.53mtrs in length and it was no problem getting to the Mer de Glace campsite. It was a fantastic site and you can walk into Chamonix in about 45 minutes. It’s an easy walk along the river bank and through a small wood. The main entrance to the site (if you follow satnav) takes you to a low bridge so you won’t get your van under that but there is a diversion from there that will take you to the other entrance which has no height restriction. At 7.91m I would say you’ll have no problem at all. Some of the pitches are small but they gave us about 3 or 4 to go and look at before we chose which one we wanted so that was good. Not sure if you’ve been to Chamonix before or not but we’re sure you’ll love it. We’re glad you enjoyed our videos. Happy travels. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.

@@sallen2779 Hi, the only one little thing that we have had an issue with is the water cap had to be replaced because one of the 3 little plastic clips had broken but other than that everything has been excellent. Fingers crossed. We bought it from Go European in the midlands and they were fantastic to deal with and in particular Dan in sales. We do love this van. Keep safe. Irvine & Karen.

Aww what wonderful views. We love Arizona think its our favourite state. The hoover dam is something else and the grand canyon definatley has the wow factor. Lovely to see the Elk .Thanks for the break down in costs, this is why we are going to ship ours over especially with us being there a year!! These are just epic drives, I can only imagine how many photos Martin would take 😂. I always think doing a tour and hearing about a place from knowledgeable people is generally worth the expense as you learn so much more. Thanks Helen. Yes Martin would be in his element here for sure. Having the Navajo guide was well worth the extra expense as it meant we got to see so much more. I love the opening music, I almost feel like I ought to be saddling up a horse 😂 what a stunning drive and the scenery is amazing. Great set of photos as well that added to the story .
