Thanks Chris , i have an all steel narrowboat and currently have a little huwaii router and a poynting antenna which is attached to a 2ft magnetic pole ,its been on the boat since new since 2018 so both router and antenna are now quite old, i’m on O2 which does work pretty well across the country.. and mostly get a good 4g signal I’m wondering if this set up would work better/faster etc as its newer, the antennas on the router being inside the boat would they be able to pick up signal through the steel do you know?

Thanks for this video Chris, I'm trying to troubleshoot something at the moment. I have a manually engaging motor mover so it must be quite old. it started to become intermittent and I realised that the battery needed replacing. I have replaced the battery that seems to have plenty of amps. The motor mover is completely unresponsive. I replaced the battery in the controller and all the lights suggest that everything is working okay but that hasn't made any difference. No response from the mover at all. Any thoughts?

Correction - the aerial goes on the roof not the router - assume you got your wires crossed at 4:55 😅

Thanks for the video, been thinking of getting one of these for a while. When linking to a campsites Wi-Fi, does the Avtex broadcast the campsites Wi-Fi on the sites SSID (eg sample caravan park Wi-Fi) or does it take in the sites wifi and broadcast it back out on its own SSID - so you don’t need to change all your devices? Hi thanks for all the helpful vids. I've bought a twin axle caravan with a single powrtouch evolution move on but want to fit the same mover from my old van to make it awd. Can I pair 1 remote to the 2 boxes and is it the same procedure? Thanks again 👍🏻

Hi Chris,when I sync my remote I get the green and red light flashing and remote goes through the set up until the right hand green led is steady, the green light on box is steady but when I press a button on the remote the red light doesn't flash and you can't hear the relays clicking this is the same with the umbilicle cord connected,would this be a remote or control box issue,many thanks Paul.

Hi Chris, I have the same system. In the remote however , only a tesco 9v battery will work. i have tries duracell, and two other good brands. All batteries had plenty of power , tested with my voltmeter. have you come across this before? I have also bent slightly the contacts in the remote thinking this may help, but to no avail. The tesco battery is slightly bigger in size which must cause it to fit better and therefore work. Regards
