    Just got the rafa 290 , and it was an imidiate switch for me. I am 60 years old. I got a spinny swing with a western grip. I used to play with the pure aero 98. Pure aero Rafa 290 gave me a deeper shot. 20% better I would say. Pure aero 98 is slightly more stable, 3% I would say. Serves are also slightly more powerful with the 98 , 3% again, I would say. Ball feeling is 20% better with rafa 290. If you have a western grip , go for the pure aero Rafa 290 with no fear. If you do not have a western grip , it's better to do demo it first

    I demoed a bunch of racquets coming from being a loyal Pure Storm/Control/Strike user throughout the years after babolat started to give me horrible hand and arm injuries, and I wound up going with the Speed MP 2024. By far the most plush, arm-friendly stick I ever hit with, buttery smooth stability. I honestly also just loved it and thought it was incredibly fun to play with, and you can’t put a spec on that, lol.

    HI, I have been considering this racket for a while but not sure. I am 64 play all round game, tend to hit flattish with a little spin. Don't move as well as i did, however not bad for my age! i do compete at my club against younger and fitter players and hold my own against most but not against the best! So what's your opinion, do you think it would be too much? Currently playing with Ki5 295 looking fro a little more power! Sorry not in Italian live in UK so its not very good as i have been here ever since i was 1!

    • @lostintennisenglish
      @lostintennisenglish 9 месяцев назад

      No I think it would be a good option for you, much more comfortable and enjoyable than the PK to be honest, it is perfect for flat or little spin all rounders. You might need to adjust with strings and tension a little, it is not a powerful frame. I found a good balance with Lynx 22/21kg

      It depends on how you play, the Percept is a little bit more demanding but it retains a more classic feel and more control. The Vcore 100 is great for spin and is overall a more powerful frame, even though it is still an intermediate-advanced player racquet.

      Very similar but still different. The Ex Tour offers easier access to spin and develops a trajectory which seems to be higher at all times. I would say it's slightly easier to use than the Radical, however when playing it I feel it a little more inconsistent and producing a metallic sound on impact. The Radical offers a solid and full impact, the sound as well as the sensation is different. There is a difference in RA, the Ex Tour being a little more flexible
