Showing the connections between the Hobie cradles for the Pro Angler 12/14 with the 1 1/2 bars on the Malone trailer. End result is wet launching will be very easy, from the ground to the cradle is only 21". Spare tire came from E-trailer, the rest of add-on I picked up off Amazon and Wayfair.

Torqeedo 1103 with Tim Percy steering on Hobie PA12 360

Setup with mods and equipment used to set up and personize the Torqeedo 1103AC
When you use the Torqeedo do you leave the rudder up and when you just want to peddle pull the motor up? Do you ever leave them both down and go back and forth between the two handles?
That looks like a really nice little trailer. What I might be looking for. Is it good at highway speed? I plan on driving some distances.
Nice
Hello, Just wondering if the Hobie cradles are still working for you on this trailer? How did you mount the cradles to the cross bars? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
Who makes those tackle box trays
Could you do a video of launching and loading the kayak at the ramp? I recently purchase the same trailer, Hobie cradles, and a Hobie PA 14. I'm very interest in seeing how the winch works at the ramp, especially with the cradles. Also, the tire manufacture says the tire pressure should be 60 psi, but Malone says the pressure should be 35 - 40 psi. What pressure do you use on your tires? You're video gave me some great tips, that I will add to my trailer.
great video... but a bit short. Are those cross bars aluminum too? Trying to see if it will fit in my garage. If you know the number, and be so kind, what is total distance from ball hitch to end of Kayak?
What are those bars that the cradles sit on called exactly? Trying to find them online
Nice setup Richard. From a fellow STSCM (SS), NEC 0422.
Hey Rich, Is the One Concept motor mount made of a dense plastic that is black all the way through? Do you think the material will handle the weather with no maintenance? I fish in saltwater, like the design but wonder about the material 's strength and weather resistance.! Good Video with lots of ideas!
You have a link for that rock guard?
Richard: Great set up in your kayak. I am currently installing the Newport motor which is very similar to the Torquedo in design. I like the way you've run the motor lift with the pulleys. Where did you buy those? Thanks!
Where are you looking to take this beast for fishing, fresh or salt?
I've wondered how backing these small trailers compares to backing a full size boat trailer. Seems like it would be a bit harder, especially if you can't really see it in the side mirrors. Looks like this one has a pretty long tongue so it probably isn't too bad. Great looking rig and helpful video!
Looks great!!!!
I have similar Torq/Hobie setup on a 14pa. Plus sonar accoutrments . Foot steering. I would have been as happy with your set up ! Put your magnet on your life jacket, wear it and learn to deal with it lol. Im primary Atchafalaya River Basin and tributaries in La. Where you?
Nice setup. I like the way you handle your tackle boxes. What holder are you using for them?
I'm using the Hobie tackle management rack part # 71708001 attached to a mounting plate part 8462201. I used stainless screws to hold everything together.
Does the steering require drilling? Looking forward to installing one.
The steering doesn't require drilling in the hull. I did drill the hull to add extra pulleys and hooks.
