Why do we still love Ireland

We have been travelling around Ireland for two months now. Surely we have seen enough? We visit Slieve League, Donegal, Kerry Cliffs, Rock of Cashel, we watch the sunset over Cliffs or more and so much more.

What a time we have had. We see a castle and an abbey ruins. We listen to great music. Meet with an old friend and get drowned on a bike ride.
Who is giving us grief?

We are in Northern Ireland and we are getting grief from someone. We need to sort this problem. In the meantime we visit beautiful Northern Ireland and we make it to Belfast.
First set-back! We weren't expecting this to happen.

We have had our first set-back. We know there will always be set-backs while travelling, but we weren't prepared or expecting this. We talk about how much things cost in Northern Ireland, is it the same as Ireland, and we talk about the walks. What is so great about Ireland?

Very well done. Lived in Ireland all my life and seen most of it but got a few ideas from this video. Arguably the most thought out and therefore best review of Ireland I have seen
@@mickmurphy1132 Thank you so much we just love your country and everything it offers.🍻
@Traveltrashaussies I'm #8 of a family of ten reared on a small Farm in Tipperary. We all got good Education and I am living and working in Dublin as an Engineer since the 80s. I have seen this Country transformed in my lifetime and work with 00s of young people who were born on a different planet to me. Always happy to hear we have kept up our good manners and welcome of others. It's only in recent decades that we Irish have had a proper chance to appreciate our Country. The history of every Country is written in its people and ours is no exception. Again, I totally agreed with your choices of best spots and why, very astute observation indeed. I don't think I'll ever get to visit your Country but I'll make a point of visiting plenty more of this one.
@ Hi Mick, Australia began with a lot of Irish people and when I was growing up in the 70’s, our country was a lot like Ireland is now (without the incredible scenery). Unfortunately we have lost a lot of that and our history is changing. We didn’t even know our neighbours and we lived in the same house for 17 years. We tried but as new neighbours came and went they kept to themselves. Australians aren’t always so friendly anymore, but they do have n their moments with glimpses into the past. They work long hours, accumulate lots of things to throw away. Young people just want big fancy cars and bigger fancier houses. You won’t find much in a populated area for under a million now. The cost of living has blown out and we are now one of the most expensive countries in the world to live in. Retirees like us are leaving the country in droves. We are no longer the lucky country. Ireland took us back to a time when, people talked to each other, helped each other and had fun. It really is a beautiful thing that Ireland has held onto these things😍
Hey guys yer so right...we Irish are the best. Wer funny..talented..gorgeous..great cooks..best produce..best food..we are chatter boxes..we love the chat it's in our dna and sure we have the best dna. By the way we are so so modest as well😂. Now must mention yer 5 bad( ish) points. We are not set up for campervans...you need to book into camp sites every few days to do rubbish etc. We love visitors/ tourists..we are slowly getting to like campervans 😅😂😂😂. Now re our country roads...we love them..they are real Ireland..you see flora fauna farms homes sites..people. Not keen on those motorways you can get those anywhere. My advice...next time book a mini car and a tiny trailer for yer luggage and hit all the small scenic country roads.😂😂😂😂. P.s liking the Guinness hat...oh, can I say come back anytime...yer the kinda tourists we love...possibly cos ye love Ireland. Irish Cork person here.
@@ClaireWhelan-s8l Too True Claire! We agree with everything! 😆 and we already discussed how much fun it would be to see Ireland through the windscreen of a Mini Cooper 😂😂😂 especially those little roads 😂😂😂
Arra jaysus ye come across as a lovely couple.Glad ye both enjoyed the visit and no matter where the road ahead brings you both, remember, personalities like you will always be joyously welcomed back with warm embraces and warm whiskey :)

I love Donegal - the place where my soul feels at home. Best regards from Germany!
We hear you! It was Tony’s favourite. I hope you have more sun in Germany than we have in Ireland😂
Hey guys you can’t have your cake and eat it too :-)
@@DonDent hello Mr Wolf. Great to hear from you. Hope all is well in your world ❤️
Great content, thanks for all the info. 🚍 🇮🇪
Our pleasure!
Beautiful historical castles , lovely forests and beautiful scenery
Thanks for visiting
There's a werecow roaming this land😂😂
aye, werewinter is coming.
The coast looks amazing
It is, but it's the scariest ride of my life. Heading back down there in a couple of weeks to see what we missed.
I’ve always wanted to go hot ballooning… this looks like an absolute gem of a location for it!
I am frightened of heights and no one believed I would ever do this, but you can't go to Cappadocia and not go up in one. It was the most amazing experience. Add it to your buckletist if it's not there already.
Oh yeah, medieval times. When furries went to conquer Jerusalem smh
Hahaha furries 😂
All in the name of fun I guess 😆
You don't look like Trash, maybe you could of been Carpark Capers..
Aaaah thank you but there is another reason we call ourselves traveltrash, we pick up rubbish if we park in a free camping spot. Just a little way of saying thank you to the community who allow us to park for free overnight.
Australia sucks. If I had it my way I’d still be living in Hawaii. So proud of you guys for doing this
