Even tho this mod is buggy i still use it a lot, anytime I gain maximum affinity for a human companion I work on making them a whole new permanent gear set then give them the ring and I never have to worry about them again since I have infinite ammo mod, and if I wanna give them meds I can just pick pocket them. Add this with the basic companion helper mod and I have dog meat as well. So throughout the game my party slowly gets bigger as I gain their affinities. Also you can use the rings to make settlers follow you too so so I usually make 1 settlement filled with combat ready settlers all with mixed gear. Basically my personal merc camp, for my raider run I had a whole party of diff bandit settlers from nuke world

A was so impressed with this vid right untill yea mentioned the scrap mod that's the problem in facin atm lol a was gonna replicate your method until that point hahahah thanks though I've built all around the main buildin and was leaving that problem till last now it seems it needs to be left as is which is a shame I'll see what a can do in other ways

Bit of faffing about but got it looking pretty good. I can usually work out exactly where the inner floors and walls go for rebuilds but this location was a pain in the ass

Para quem está tendo problemas com esse mod , descobri a solução para resolver o problema,sempre q for fazer qualquer negociação com seu seguidor, primeiro retire o anel dele equipe em vc mesmo , faça as mudanças q quiser nele ,depois coloque o anel no seguidor de novo e equipe nele,só dessa forma não irá bugar ,não precisa de manequim,caso queira desfazer do seguidor,retire o anel dele ,e equipe em vc mesmo ,o mesmo anel q estava nele,caso seu salve esteja bufado , a única forma de reverter e esperando o seguidor entrar na armadura, faça ele sair ,assim q ele sair aperte rápido na opção de negociar e retire o anel dele e equipe em vc.

My isse with this specific MOD for PS4 is that it broke my Red Rocket. After cleaning my Red Rocket of debris and clutter and I installed this later on, the scraped objects came back and made 80% of the objects unscrapable (only at Red Rocket). I can't scrape around where the ammo crate (where you'll find the rings). I can't scrape inside the Red Rocket or above it. This only happens at Red Rocket. It looks like the rubbish were rendered (cell deleted) to add the ammo crate.

croup manor is one of the few rebuilds that you can do without prebuilds

I’m finally getting to building my settlement at Echo Lake and I remembered seeing this years ago. Great work, really inspiring, might totally steal for my build

When I went to rebuild my chroup manor, I seriously scraped all the junk stuff lying around and thought, "Well, that's the end of that build." Because I didn't think ANYTHING construction wise was gonna snap or fit. So, I literally walked away from this place and headed down the beach, still writing off chroup manor. Then I had a moment of clarity and said... "Let's just see what we can make out of it." Went back, brought the build mode, picked the one balcony roof section, and began to lay down flooring to cover the gapping hole. Through some trial and error, I cover the roof balcony very nicely. AND, I was able to continue covering the whole 2nd floor. AND I MANAGED A car walk that trace nearly the entire roof top. I ran out of materials to finish the build, but it's coming along nicely. Despite that fact, I had low expectations of even making a decent place for settlers. This actually came out better than I planned.

Amazing work dude! Also, the hole in the attic at 26:45 can be patched evenly with two flat warehouse roof sections, but you have to push them in from underneath. I don't know why those roof sections work, but they glitch themselves into a lot of weird places without any adjacent placed pieces. I was able to fully repair the Echo Marina building with the collapsed floor that way as well.

How is it hat it took me 6 years to find this video? I really like your technique for patching this house, good thing it is built on the same grid system as the barn pieces ^^ (flash back from coastal cottage with it's 1.75 floor width) . I remember fixing this but wall by wall then adding an entire 3rd floor (4th floor if you speak USA English) all as a blueprint like you did it felt really satisfying. great job !

It is quite striking just how poor Bethesda's work on this building mechanic was. Honestly, Fallout 4 was a poorly built game in general.

First off, I appreciate this tutorial. I started using this repair technique years ago, maybe three to four. Still relevant today man! Secondly, for anyone that still has issues, I did as well and recently have noticed that there is a couple floor pieces that seemed very out of place and also seemed to hinder the proper placement of the structure. Also if you can seem to place it at all and you think you’ve scrapped everything check the roof. There are two broken roof pieces in the attic that can be scrapped. 👍
