As an e46 m3 owner I have to say the e92 is still the nicest design out of the last 50yrs.

@@twotimes360 depends on how you look at it. if you expect to drive it like you stole it while maintaining it like your grandmas barnyard toyota, it's bound to fail. but my 120k miles with my e90 m3 and just fluid changes, filter changes, tires, 1 new battery, and a some solutions to "weak points" in the motor (RB, TA, valve covers, and vanoss covers) and i haven't had any catastrophic issues while i've daily driven it. no it's not something you can be super cheap on, but at the same time if you do things the right way, it will not break the bank and will not shit out on you. as far as e9x 335i's with N54, i think i just got lucky with mine when i had that lol. M3 definitely is less maintenance and easier to keep reliable vs the 335i (on upgraded turbos and spicy tune).
