I'm a solo operator, & an old bloke (LOL), offering a personal premium lawn care service in the Yass Valley and surrounding district. State: New South Wales. Country: Australia.
Yass is a small country town of approx. 7-8k people in the SouthernTablelands of New South Wales.
Approx 300 km's SW of Sydney & approx 50-60 km's north of Canberra.
Summer temps can range from 25-45 degrees celsius (75-110 fahrenheit) & winter temps can go from -8 to say 15 degrees celsius (17-60 fahrenheit). Rainfall normally is around 2 inches (50mm) per month.
I have around 20-30 regular customers ranging from small residential, larger rural residential & large commercial.
Having a mix works really well when juggling the schedule.

With the warm weather I can now access the "Top" Paddock. It's dried up a bit. Although the grass is long & mist. So I raised the deck.

Front Yard Tidy Up - before the storm

Had a little bit of time to whippa snip & mow my front lawn before the storm hit. Using the Stihl Kombi km94R & Bobcat ZT 2000 42 inch. It's hot & humid here at the moment so the grass is growing fast and the mower man is fading fast.....LOL. Thanks for watching EVERYONE. #mowing #lawn

Just great rain. Approx 75 millimetres (3 inches) over the past 2 days. "Purr-fect". Things will get busy in the lead up to Christmas now.

Storm Damage - large limb cleanup

We had a storm come through on Sunday afternoon which dump around an inch of rain in a short period of time - say 2hr's or so. A large limb in a conifer tree in my back yard came down. So I better clean it up. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy.

Just bought one this morning. I started looking a the HRU216 initially but seeing comments on YT etc i decided on the 196BuffPro. I wanted a true mulcher and an engine break in a reosonable size. I have just done a mow here in Darwin ( residential size lawn ) on some longer lawn following rains. This machine is unbelievable . Beautifully made, starts like a dream, sounds awesome and cuts great. Just a solid and worthwhile piece of kit. Sometimes you buy something and you just think " stoked i spent money on this" So glad I did not get the larger 216. $1300 with free honda oil ;)
I also have an older Honda Buffalo purchased in Feb 1995 & it's still going like a train. I've never regretted buying a Honda mower. Really glad you are happy with it. Cheers. 👍😎
@ I have been Masport loyal all my life but at 55 years old moving to the Honda is like leaving the Landcruiser behind for a LEXUS 🍻

@@brianwelsh-primecutslawnca4364 I'll be moving back in the countryside very soon, Brian. Back exactly where I grew up at, in the same house I grew up in. My parents will still be nearby, next door to be exact. They are remodeling my grandparents' former house. I'll be taking over their current house since it is move in ready. It's coming together quite nicely.

G'day Wes & Merriah. It's nice around here. Mainly grazing/pastoral country - sheep & beef cattle. We've had around 6 to 8 inches of rain over the past week or so. Everything is growing fast. I reckon you'll have the fire starting up soon there. 👍😎......🦘

@MarkMeadows90 Thanks Mark. Any rain at anytime helps. We had 9 years of drought from 2002 to 2010 and I don't want to go through that again. 👍😎🦘
@@brianwelsh-primecutslawnca4364 oof, 9 years? We have droughts here in Alabama, USA, but not as worse as 9 years. We would have months upon months of no rain, especially in the early to mid summer months. I recall 2007, 2013, and I think 2016 was particularly bad.
