Nice cover of this classic song. Love the 12 string and your vocals...nice tribute to John Denver.
Thank you, Barry. I always liked John Denver’s music. He was a very good guitarist, and he had a great voice.
Nice, makes me remember my trip to Denver and the Rocky Mountain National Park. thx from France
Thank you for the comment.
Very cool cartoon effect and dual guitars sound GREAT...nice followup. I used a similar effect when I recorded Danny (my son) at Dover Racetrack and used my bucket list drum cover as music background. Cartoon effect was an homage to the Amazing A-Ha music video..take on me. ruclips.net/video/XinTjwL4quc/видео.html
Hi Barry. I checked out the video link to the Connells song. You did a very good job mixing parts of the Take On Me video with clips of your son at the racetrack. Also, that’s the first time I seen you playing the drums! You fit a nice beat and great fill-rolls behind the song. Keep up the good work! As for those effects on my video, I discovered them accidentally while I was posting a cover of Across The Universe a couple of months ago. I put Dream Effects on that video.
Well played Frank. ✌Enjoyed it. Thanks so much.
Thank you for the compliment.
THANK SO MUCH , YOU MAKE THE BEST INSPIRATION FOR SOMEONE.
Thank you very much!

This is amazing, your talent is inspiring!
Thank you so much!
Jim Croce is one of my all time favorite singer/songwriters! He was quite the fingerstyle guitar player too! Amazing job! You absolute nailed it.
Thank you very much! Jim Croce really was an extremely talented person. It’s a shame that he didn’t live long enough to continue playing and writing more great music.
Bravo, like und ein schönes Wochenende 💖 Liebe Grüße...🤗🎶
Thank you very much.
Nice cover Frank..funny that i come across your cover after watching an upload of happy together show from St George Theatre. Heres the link..and they also performed It Aint Me Babe but prob just Mark Volman . ruclips.net/video/DN6b--vaQZs/видео.html
Nice job Frank brings back happy memories. 👍
Thank you! I barely remember when this song came out (I was 6 years old at the time), but it’s a great song, and I can imagine it was an amazing time to go through.
Frank..nice cover of Fleetwood Mac's song. I was a fan of Fleetwood Mac way before Stevie Nicks joined the band. Bought all their early LP's, after they changed from a Blues band. First album I bought was Future Games, then in order: Bare Trees, penguin, Mystery to Me, Heroes are hard to find, Fleetwood Mac, and Rumors which was last album I bought. There were so many great Mac songs I liked, so it's hard to pin one down but Sentmental Lady w lead by Bob Welch is among my faves. Very nicely done Frank, on Landslide.
Hello Barry. Thank you for those wonderful comments. Fleetwood Mac was a great band, but I have to admit that I’m not really familiar with their early music. Those albums you mentioned, Future Games, Bare Trees, ect, I don’t know the songs on those albums. I started getting into their music when the album “Fleetwood Mac” came out, around 1976. And then “Rumours” which made them a household name, and was the best-selling album of 1977. I was speaking to Peter before, and he mentioned Peter Green, who I never even heard of! I guess I was too young to remember their music from back then. But of course, I know Bob Welch, from his hit songs Ebony Eyes and Sentimental Lady, which was a great song. Again, thanks for those nice comments.
@@frankyscam61 Yes Peter Green was main palyer when they were a British blues type band. After he left, guitarist Danny Kirwin was in new sounding band and vocals by Bob Welch and Chrisine Mc Vie. Sentimental lady was on BARE TREES album, and then sung again by Welch when he went solo. Peter has a phenomenal wealth of music knowledge, so it figures he would know Peter Green. Have a great safe weekend.
Last night, out of curiosity, I read about Fleetwood Mac on “Wikipedia”. I had no idea about all the different members and musical changes they went through. And most of the early members, I never heard of them. It’s also interesting how their most successful album “Rumours” was written and recorded during a very stressful time, with all of them going through divorces(the McVies, and Fleetwood and his wife) and romantic breakups (Nicks and Buckingham). While in the studio, they focused on the music, and not the problems amongst them, which also included drugs and alcohol. Another thing I didn’t know: Mick Fleetwood and George Harrison were brothers-in-law! Harrison was married to Patti Boyd, and her sister Jenny was married to Fleetwood. OK Barry, enjoy the rest of the weekend.
@@frankyscam61 Wow..I didnt know Mick Fleetwood and Harrison were brothers in laws. Stay well
Yes, we learn something new every day! If you haven’t read the Wikipedia article on Fleetwood Mac, you should check it out. It’s very informative, and they usually tell the truth. Sometimes other websites may tell lies, or give misleading facts, but I always look to Wikipedia when I want to find out about a group, or singer, or actor, or whatever. They’re usually reliable with the facts.
Hi Frank..just tuned into your channel. Terrific cover..it's not easy singingmany of Harrison's songs, and you def. pulled it off. Very nice.
Thank you, Barry. George Harrison definitely wrote some great Beatles songs, that can compare with many Lennon- McCartney tunes.
Amazing
Thank you!
I've never seen a cover of this song, I love it. Great singing voice you have but the lead lines are a little awkward on acoustic, I wouldn't know how to play them so if I was doing this I'd cut them out. All the best to you man!
I appreciate your honesty, without being insulting. I realized that the lead notes were played sloppy, and I wasn’t going to post the song until I practiced it some more. That’s probably what I should have done. Anyway, thanks for complimenting my singing!
Tres Bon!😎🎸
You sing beautifully. So good!
Thank you so much!!

Thank you!

Thank you for your compliment.
wow
Thank you!
@@frankyscam61 it`s perfeсt
Hi Frank, i love the way you play and almost close to original played by Paul....is this in standard tuning?... if not can please share it the right tuning for this song....really appreciate it, thanks !!!
Hello Danny, thanks for the compliment. This song is actually played with the guitar tuned one-and-a-half steps lower than standard tuning, which means the strings are tuned three notes lower. In other words, the E string is tuned down to D flat, the B string is tuned to A flat, the G string tuned to E, and so on. Hope this answer helps.
Really well done, Frankie.
Thank you, Lee. It's one of my favorite guitar instrumentals.
Sounded good!! Hope you all are staying safe during these crazy times!
Hi, Lee. Hope all you guys are doing good. We're all O.K.-except that I still have to get used to wearing a mask every time I go to the store!
Good job, I'm a beginner on guitar and this was one of my favorite songs, do you know of a RUclips lesson on how to play it. Again great job I really enjoyed thanks for sharing.
A N Thank you for the compliment. I just checked on RUclips, and I don't see any lesson videos for this song, but I intend on posting a lesson for this song within a couple of weeks. I'll send you a reply when it's ready. Thanks again.
Did you ever do the the lesson? I cant find it. Thank you
A N I’m sorry, but I never got around to doing the lesson. Thanks for reminding me. I’ll definitely do the video within a week or two, and I’ll send you a reply.
One of the easier cords to play...isn't it just two? Nonetheless, really good cover!
Actually, there's 4 chords in the song, but you're right, all the chords are very simple to play. They're all played on the second fret, and they're all 2-finger chords.
At one point I tried to play this but unsuccessfully haha
Most of the people on RUclips who teach this song play it with only 2 chords. Even though it's really 4 chords, it still sounds good with 2. Just keep at it with the 2 chords, and you'll get it down.
Love this Goo Goo Dolls song!! Great cover!!!!
Thanks, Lee. This is a great song, my favorite one by them.
This is one of my favorite instrumentals...good job!
Thanks again. Jimmy Page did some nice acoustic arrangements, but this is definitely his best.
Very good, as always
Thank you. I agree, the most beautiful 12-string song every written! Nicely done!
Bonnie Earnhardt Thank you for the compliment.
Great vocals on this cover, good job
Ahrian Coca Thank you. You're the first person to ever compliment me on my singing! But I always loved this song. It's one of my favorite Stones songs.
Frank Scamardella this is probably one of your best and one of my favorites of yours, it sounds very genuine.
Good job

Alexandra Asbury Thank you very much. I've always considered this song to be the best 12-String Guitar song ever written.

Ahrian Coca Thank you. This was always one of my favorite Simon & Garfunkel songs.
I love this. I am doing a paper on this song and came across your channel. Good job!!!

Kyle Dunsmuir Thank you very much!

Evelyn Ferguson Thanks for those really nice comments.
