You can't appreciate this epic and brilliant film in a fleeting summary like this...... The movie score, writing, and acting performances are truly phenomenal. I saw 'Saving Private Ryan' and 'The Thin Red Line' in the theaters in my youth, but never fully appreciated the latter until I was an adult.

I'm a western movie fanatic, my favorite movie genre above all. I have so many favorites that it's too damn hard to pick. But I can put it this way, if I could only have one western movie in my movie collection, it would be 'The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly', without a doubt.
