Life on the Frontier: More Nissan Accessories from Amazon
Просмотров 11 тыс.Год назад
Doing life on the Nissan Frontier. I got another product for my truck. I got a new bed matt. I needed it just in case I drop anything heavy. I needed it to prevent any dents on the truck bed. I'm also sharpening my cooking skills and cooking simple meals.

I plan on doing a road trip so I'm prepping my Truck. I plan on driving to Florida on my new truck. I don't have a tunnel cover so I bought a waterproof cargo net from Amazon. I also plan on cooking on the truck so i'm practicing cooking simple meals. In this episode, I will be cooking bacon fried rice.

I bought a 2023 Nissan Frontier pro4x 4x4 and did some minor mods to it. More like adding accessories. Today, I'm driving around the country side and showing my new accessory for this truck. With the sports bar, I cannot add a bed cover to the truck so my only solution is to get a trunk divider.

did you ever get the 2 inch lift on this beauty?
How difficult was it to install the sports bar and did you have a harness wire going from the Sports bar to the engine bay and another harness connecting from the passenger tail light to the wire harness on the sports bar?
Good looking truck ! Im getting one next week !
Do they make that bedliner for my 2023 Frontier SV which has a 6-foot bed?
Got the same bedliner...I let it sit in the sun a couple hours and it flattened right out, great fit n feel. Also have the same color truck..tough to keep clean😅
That's the rear seat belt indicators, its normal, it will go away in a while.
What's better, a lift kit or leveling kit for my 2024 pro x Frontier
Love seeing these trucks on the road they’re neck breakers and command respect
Love my white pro4x. 2nd frontier both have been great. The3rd gen is wayyyy better looking than my 2016 i haf
cringy ahh intro
Great review! Thanks! 🔥
For the price you could have just gotten the tonneau cover. I put an Oedro tri-fold cover on my 22 SV and 18 months later it’s still in great shape. They are only $180-$230ish on sale. I just saw the roll up is like $200 and there is 25% off right now.
I just bought the 24 Pro4x loaded. Absolutely love it. My one comment is the bed liner. I'm guessing water will collect in it. Is there a drain port? The bed drain port is at the front right area. Do you consider cutting a drain slot? I just added a hard tonneau but still like that pad.
I love this truck. I’m thinking about buying one. Are the back seats big enough for a baby car seat?
I’m jealous man! I love this truck can’t wait to get one!! lol so reliable and good quality! ✌🏻🇨🇦
Have you installed an oil catch can? It's a game changer for these direct injection engines
Does the oil catch can void the warranty?
Sweet truck man
What did you use to record thei video?
For your backseat light. Try taking out the lens cover and mess around with the bulb terminals. I had the same issue at one point. Nice truck btw! I have a 22 SV and I love it.
Hello I just bought a 2024 king cab S model I did the line-x spray in liner but also wanted a bedmat Thanks for sharing I will be ordering the same one you got👍
😢 I can’t seem to find a bedmat for 6ft bed
Wow beautiful truck. Enjoy it. It doesn’t need a thing❤
Congratulations on your truck. It looks awesome! I've had my crew cab 4x4 about six weeks , and im loving every drive. Today on a short 125 mile trip on the interstate, it got 25.1 mpg. Very pleased! Taco's don't compare in on road drivability.
How is the comfort? I hear really different opinions about this and it is important to me for sure
Tone loc.
Great song you chose. NIRVANA.
NISMO has a nice 1.5" lift, 260.00 and it is designed for the Pro4x Frontier.
Very nice truck I really like the way it looks. Safe travels and adventures thanks for posting videos.
Nice mat for the bed-I went with the Weathertech one with tailgate protector
Is that for the 6 foot-bed?
Has your front cowl warped yet near the windshield lower part near windshield wipers?
On the back of the headliner towards back windows does it sit flush ? mine goes up and down if you touch it slightly
Is the sports bar easy to put on the truck? what do you use it for?
Only boomers drive Nissan trucks.
What is a boomer? Must mean very intelligent.
@@JohnnyRebLa Nope. It means very old. Thanks for the troll.
@@DeepDishPizza baby boomer? Uh, don't think he's quite old enough slick.
You mean toyotas 😝
@@user-ox8ix6lf4r Nope Nissan Trucks. Boomers do drive corollas though.
Your whole life revolves around the truck hahha
Strange because my 2023 Pro4X luxury does not have auto start stop.
I think Nissan started including it mid-year.
@@jonathancarino you are correct mid year they introduced it. I just spoke to the sales manager at my local Nissan dealership who is also a friend and he said with his Pro4X demo he just held down the switch while the truck was running and it permanently shut off the start stop. Worth a try.
@@jonathancarino let me know if it works
@@deancm9302 Oh, I have a 2022 and don't have it either. I'm glad too, cause it's a super annoying feature. 😆
Mine doesn't either, bought it in February of 23
Nissan has not made a reliable vehicle since 2013
Heof❤❤
Latch the seat belts in the back they will go off. Just let's you know which seTbelts are not latched.
I bought the 2023 pro4X 4X4 full extras $53,000 and I’m happy and every aspect a lot of people are complaining about the transmission but normally right now electronic truck’s and Cars basically have the same problem not only Nissan Frontier……
53k? Whole smokes! I just picked mine up for $39,999 plus tax and tags. I thought that was to much. Fully loaded too! Damn....53k for this truck is really really high! I told them I wasn't leaving with it until they got it under 40k. They called 5 days later and said come get it. 2023 pro 4x glacier white. I'm not knocking ya I'm just saying that 53k is half ton money.
@All-Miles-Matter that could be $53k CAD. I bought mine for $50K CAD 2 years ago. Now the msrp went up to $54k
@D41Pat ok that makes sense then! Lol.
I have had my 23 pro4x for 10 months. Like everything about it so far.
Like too see it after the lift .
a direct copy of the gmc trucks...im thinking lawsuit coming soon...
Except there's no ruler on the Frontier tailgate. How on earth will he measure things!? Lol
Actually GMC canyon changed to look like the Frontier. Frontiers came out in 2022 with the style that GMC copied in 2023.
I don’t eat in my frontier truck 😂
My back seat lights does the same thing. 🤬
Did they fix it for you
Where did you get that accessory for groceries?
Got it off amazon, some non name brand
Just bought a 2023 SV 4x4 yesterday!!!
Do you know where can I get the rear Frontier bed spoiler?
All my accessories are from Amazon
Congratulations! Nice truck, what company sells those cushions?
Kingphenix off amazon
I bought the same truck a few months ago and I'm disappointed, frankly. The Jatco transmission shifts rough and unpredictably, so I'm seriously concerned about its longevity. When cruising on the highway it will abruptly drop 2 or 3 gears on the slightest incline, sometimes hitting 5000+ RPM when literally no downshift is even necessary. Stupid transmission/throttle programming is the main reason I hated my 2020 Tacoma and the Pro4x is just as bad if not worse. It's also missing some basic features that a $48,000 truck should definitely have (telescoping steering wheel, fully adjustable driver's seat, ventilated front seats, 4WD high can't be engaged with cruise control, and the fuel economy sucks compared to other midsize trucks. 80% of my driving is highway cruising at 60-70 MPH and I barely get 19 MPG, which is 3 below the highway EPA rating. Nissan could have done A LOT better with this redesign, especially after taking 17 year to do it. I don't plan on keeping this truck long term.
I’m seeing these new around me with lifetime drivetrain for 39k. Would you still think is a disappointment at that price point? 2023 frontier pro 4x
@@shortbus32090 Prices are definitely starting to fall, but I'd be surprised if you could get a loaded P4X with premium package like this one for that price. However, if you can, I'd go for it. I paid $45k for mine and it's just not worth that much.
The non telescope steering doesn't bother me since all my other cars don't have it either, the mpg is all over the place for me depending on the traffic, hopefully the transmission last the life of the truck, but I drive my cars until they're no longer drivable.
Bought my 2023 pro-4x in early October, not having any of the mechanical issues you mentioned. My transmission is smooth and shifts very well. Do agree with you on the missing features. Filled out my Nissan survey this week and for the $48k+ price point, the truck should have: 1) telescoping steering; 2) memory seats; 3) automatic folding mirrors; 4) cooled/ventilated front seats. Looked at some of the new models just coming out (Tacoma, Ranger and Ridgeline), and while some of these trucks have these features, the price points are ridiculous. My built out Ranger clocked in at $58k+, and the Toyota dealers are marking up the Tacoma by $5K right now. The Ridgeline trailsport has been pushed back to spring 2024 and no msrp listed yet. So overall still got a lot of truck for a lot less money. My 2023 was discounted 11% because the 24's were arriving. Overall a good value and a nice looking truck
@@Supperup40672 Haha don't make me laugh. Even extraterrestrials are aware of Ford's sh*tty reliability.
Gorgeous Truck! Heard the Engine is last of the old school V6's and should give a long life with none of the issues like today's $90,000 Trucks! I still have my 1999 1500 Silverado, (409,000 miles) and I know today's Chevy's, and Fords with their active fuel management, and belt timing among other things will break down faster. It even looks sexy mean, rugged.
409K??? Damn!
First time truck owner here and this is the truck that I bought last August.
The repair woulda been $40k less than a new truck..ha..I never understand that mindset.
