Straight to the point, no BS, Love It!!! Please do more Videos.
I totally feel the same way …
Another easy way to do it, and it's what I do, is to lift the templates up to a little above the ears. This tilts the glasses slightly downward and eliminates the glare. Remember, light reflects at the same angle as it hits something. So, if the glasses are slightly down it doesn't reflect back into your lens.
What do you do for a proofing gallery? Like How do you run that aspect?
I can shoot 85% usable images but there will only be <5% great images. If I can get one killer shot from each look. I’m happy.
I really like my Nifty-Fifty… paired with the Viltrox Speedbooster.
Thanks B!!!
Hey, can you make a video on how to tether m50 for live shooting?
How do you charge for the images they want to buy?
Throughy website, WIX has a payment service If you build your site with them. So does Squarespace and others like them.
Miss you brother there watching now .
best trick i have learned in photoshop this nutes
That's pretty cool
Great info! I typically stick to what was in the contract but I often deliver a few extras further down in the future. I do this to stay relevant in the clients mind. I have found success doing this because I will sometimes get another gig from a previous clients. Thanks for the video. BTW what mic are you using? The audio is super clean.
Thanks! It's an Audio Technica AT-897. I've actually gotten better it editing my audio in post If you look at some of my newer videos 🙂 thanks for watching!
Times 1.6 so 51.2
Also I have a gopro accessory kit that has a head strap. I don’t use GoPros anymore so you can have the kit.
Thanks, I think I purchased the same kit after this video 😊
Thanks .. I think now I will hold on to my white background
Glad it helped!
Heck yeah!! I have an R6 and I love it. It'll be a massive upgrade over the 6D especially, and will be the best of both worlds between the two cameras
Awesome, thank you :-)
That does not answer the question.. And also you need to at least have qaulity photos, and not be some sap with camera and think you good..
That’s how it works for Dj’s too. 👍
When ever anyone says how much? If they wanna give you money just shut up and take there money ;)

Thank you 🙂
I know you released this over a year ago, but I've recently purchased my m50 and have been looking into portraits as a side gig. I love interfacing with people and think it would be incredibly rewarding and fun to have my own business. I found this video very encouraging man, I appreciate the content. subbed!
Thank you 🙂
Love this video so much! Chills!
Thank you Nick 😁
This is super helpful! Can you explain the print, mug, blanket option for when they choose to purchase more photos.
WIX uses a print company called "Order A Print". They offer products, people simply click the button to buy it and it is shipped to them.
Nifty 50 is the best lens canon produced. Go home, youre drunk 🥴
Best in what way?
Also what 50? 1.2, 1.4, 1.8?
I have 2 M50's and all the ef-m lenses. The Canon 32mm 1.4 is truly primo. You can continue to open up a whole new world with the Laowa 9mm ultrawide no distortion lens.
Really cool video, Bobby! I have a few aspiring photographers in class so we watched this today. Got some really good info. Thanks!
awesome, thank you!
Omgg.that is well footage!talk you later!The,
Hi, when you sell and send the pictures to your client, do you use watermark in the bottom corner?
The watermark is removed once they pay for the photo. I use watermarks on my photos when shared on social media as a form of advertising. Once a client pays for a photo I remove it for them.
@@ThisisBobbyMatinez thanks for answer. so when the client pay for those pictures then they are the owner but you keep a copy of them anyway?
You're always the owner of your photographs, you just give them a license when they purchase the photo. My website automatically removes watermarks when they purchase it. I retain copies of all my photos, even ones I don't use.
Hi there. I am in one of your shots and was wondering if you could email me the photo? Or how I can get a copy. Awesome video! We are the white C10 at 8:57-58.
Absolutely!
𝓅𝓇𝑜𝓂𝑜𝓈𝓂 👍
Dude... Amazing video and dope break down, this helped me out a lot in deciding how to go about things.... Keep it up!!!
Thank you 😁
I have an m50 and love it. Feel like there’s not many user out there. Thanks for the info. Do you have a video on your camera settings?
I pretty much always use manual mode, I set my aperture based on how much depth of field I want, I generally keep my shutter speed between 160 and 250 and then compensate for the rest with ISO. When I'm using my strobes I keep my iso at 100 and compensate with the strobe.
I appreciate you for sharing! I'm now subscribed. I wish you much success!
Thank you 😁
I came way late to this video but wanted to comment on your philosophy on how many images you shoot and provide to your client. It's refreshing to see someone with common sense talking about how many images to shoot. As a long-time pro coming from film days I learned early to know how to shoot, when to shoot and what to shoot. I also photograph graduating seniors along with portraits, etc. I've never embraced the spray and pray concept that seems to have a symbiotic relationship with digital photography. Sixty to a hundred images is about what I shoot for a graduating senior session, little more than you but I also offer a short studio session prior to location shooting. I know some headshot photographers who shoot a hundred or more images just for a standard headshot! Ridiculous. Anyway, keep up the good work.
Thank you 🙂
I feel like he should be telling me about a dope "hide" for hunting 😁. Good info tho, I'll apply it when buying my next lens for my m50.
😁
50mm always be 50mm on any sensor, the angle of vision, changle like an 80mm, only if you use a fullframe lens
Yes but the distance between you and the subject to get the same field of view is different. With a 50 mm lens on a crop sensor you have to be about the same distance away as a 85-ish mm lens on a full frame.
@@ThisisBobbyMatinez yes, the diferense Is the angel of visión
at minute 5:30 this dude says what you need to know from this terrible video. There's a reason why a beginner camera comes with beginner kit lens. It forces a noob to learn how to work around the limitations the kit lens brings to the table....etc. If the beginner fails to learn these fundamentals and listens to terrible advise like the things this ignorant individual is saying....you will end up being a clueless beginner with a beginner camera still taking shitty pictures with a lens that cost you $x,xxx you probably should have spent on a speed light or other.
Thanks for your opinion, do you have any photos we could see that you've taken?
Another great video! m50 is a great camera!
Thank you so much. 😊
he is so wrong. ure closer to 85
It's a 1.6 crop factor.
What’s the best light, adapter and tripod for a Sony A7iii
Quality video, but i have to disagree. I dont have the 32mm but i have the sigma 30mm and the nifty 50. The few steps back and slight change in focal range may be worth saving the difference in price. Neither one is a pancake lens so size isn’t a huge factor even with an adapter. If you have the money I’d definitely recommend getting a 30mm or 32mm lens over a 50mm on the m50 platform but not if your goal is a good bang for low bucks. well done video nonetheless. 👍🏾
What camera do you use?
Canon 6d, I also use an M50 on occasion and as my backup.
The nifty fifty is famous because of its quality to price ratio. Beginners will be intimidated out of buying the more expensive lens.
This is amazing. Good stuff. Thank you for sharing this knowledge.
I'm using this, it's very nice
