@@Bobbyscott17 fuck me man. Done the job the other day. The new genuine Honda seal from cox just did not fit at all. No matter what I done it would refuse to be flush and stuck up I ended up just using silicon and putting the old one back in that fits perfect and flush

Nice one bud glad it helped . Down the line I ended up taking the restrictive extra pipe out from the bumper to the box and improved again especially when tuning off live data. You can get to the bolts through the inner wheel liner bit of a mare . I then ran a cheap ebay cold feed pipe put in position of where the horn is. Every little helps lol. She was a flying machine

I wonder if it has completely seized . Where their any signs of the old packed out grease?? My fault was for lack of water. Also they are bad for chaffing wires maybe worth trying to follow them back or get the multi meter out

@@Bobbyscott17 it used to work, but a few times , recently, the wiper just got stuck a couple of times in a vertical position. Then, it just came back to normal. Yes, there was some signs of old packed grease, but I cleaned it all out. Not sure if the motor is turning ( can't turn it with my hand) , but the gears are moving okay. The chaffed wire is a good shout, as , my reverse camera started giving a black screen now every time ... back to the drawing board.

Mine refuses to turn off now. The motor is fine but something is triggering the relay even when the wiper is set to off, you think this repair is worth doing in my case?

@@jhow3d688 so, the way I "fixed" mine, was to turn it on for a few cycles without the wiper arm on it. Once I could see the spindle move as it should, and stop , I attached the wiper and fixed it. Worked brilliant ever since.

Have you a good seal with the plastic parts on the bottom of windscreen. Also clean the drains

Spins up faster feels a bit more lively. Needs tuned or revs can drop at tick over. Also helps you increase max revs when tuning if only for sound

@@HondaK20 yes mate go for the rdx 410cc injectors too combined with a j37 throttle body and good intake she will be singing 😀 I use Hondata for tuning a guy over in the us did 13 revisions of the map to get each part working together was a great experience feeling each revision . Also was free!!!!!!

@@Bobbyscott17 RRC+72mm DWB TB I plan. But now I can’t labour with flashpro. I instal oil pump+flywheel make a dyno and after dyno I will upgrade intake. Maybe not. Tuning N/A is expensive. And now in Europe isn’t good time for buying expensive parts 🙈🤬 thanks!

Yes well that roof rails plus all the way down the windscreen and the plastic I sealed. covers around the windscreen have a tendancey to warp so stuck them dowm Cleared scuttle pan. Been a labour of love but yes she's all dry so far

Hey fella . This is a good start also take the roof rails off and clean and silcone those. I used a glass adhesive specific silcone that i used to on my campervan. Best thing to do is look for those spots where it gas degraded and looks yellow in the vid. I stuck a dehumidifier in for a few days to dry it out and no more issues so far lol

So for me it was poor mpg but that's probably my driving style too lol. Its a serviceable part which I'm sure honda recommend around the 100k mark and mine was pretty dirty and original with 160k on the clock she deserved a new one at least until the skunk 2 manifold goes on...
