Pigeons have been with mankind for thousands of years. A source of food, fertilizer and entertainment. The birds pooping on your property are descendants from the domesticated birds man has kept for the above mentioned. What a useful little bird but more importantly they are very clever and resilient. In my humble opinion they were probably man's best friend at some point in history. Three cheers for the wee pigeon my favourite wee friend. During monsoon, do these ponds holding a useable amount of water, or is the ground able to absorb what water is diverted and captured?
