ABBA PhotoShop Enhancement - Before and After
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.3 года назад
UPDATE (09/11/2021) - Further enhancement due to higher quality source image. I really love the latest ABBA photo, but the image quality currently available is pretty rough. It’s also not a very flattering pose from Frida, which is unusual as she’s normally very photogenic. This is my little project to enhance the overall image quality, and fix the issues with Frida’s pose. It makes a really go...
Yamaha CS-80 - Bruce Springsteen

The Yamaha CS-80 features on the BBC documentary: Sound of Song (episode 3) : Mix It Up and Start Again Song: Bruce Springsteen - Born In The USA
Hahahah… the dude from ABBA! Hahahaha.
Bjorn does not look 70 !
I’d probably cry 😭
"Tell me, why would I want more money?" Exactly what I was thinking! 😅 Let's be real, realistically beyond a certain amount, money becomes completely useless. Either that or you have to put in more effort finding new ways to actually spend it than it is worth.
Probably my fave scene from this underrated show 😂. I love how Bruce is annoyed by the "stranger."
🤣 🤣 🤣 👍
Björn is a good actor 🙂
The dressing down he gave shows he is a great dramatic actor, but the other scenes, he was freaking hilarious withbhis deadpan delivery.
It's really funny how ignorant, affluent snobs diss Bruce Springsteen and then act like they know something.
So...where is the joke?
The joke was bojun and other abba members like dress like fictional charcter instead of a nomal person just so to used a tax loophole that gave exemptions to clothing provably not meant for everyday use
@@justiceriser8970not even close. 🙄
@@thenightporter then what is the joke
@@justiceriser8970 that the American guy doesn't realize that Björn is a member of ABBA; he thinks he is a regular guy who is an ABBA superfan (who dresses like ABBA in their heyday).
@thenightporter dude that one of the jokes I talking about the other one
❤❤❤❤ forever!!
Hahahahaha... Björn is wonderful. I would loooooove to see this kind of clip with every single member ❤️💕especially Frida ❤️
Jag skulle fangirlat sönder om jag träffade en Abba medlem
I have two CS-80's fully restored. Bruce deserves all he brought to the table, including making sure he had the greatest poly-synth ever made, to make sure its squelchy signature the ear cannot ignore, and could usher in a hit on its own wings. Whether you agree with his message or style, I think that's pretty smart actually.
These are the angriest comments I've ever seen on a video about synths lol
Is there a full version of this documentary on YT?
🥰❤🙏
Born in the USA, playing a Japanese poly synth
Which was modeled after an American invention. Probably makes it even more American that way
@@mississippijohnfahey7175 Moog?
@@fjfrancois yeah, I mean Moog didn't make the first ever synth, but pretty much every synth since 1970 is modeled after the Model D to some degree
The american guy could play lindsey buckingham in a fleetwood mac biopic🤣
He is the brother of famous comedienne/actress Amy Poehler. It is a clip from Welcome to Sweden. The plot is about an American guy who falls in love and marries a Swede. He moves there for her and is the over-enthusiastic and extroverted American. The show is based on his real-life experiences when he married his Swedish wife and moved to Sweden.
O. K. A. Y 😳
why are yall bullying bjorn😂😭😭
I don't like her 😑
That synth is TOO GOOD for Bruce. He doesn't deserve it. He sucks without it.
Have you ever listened to _Nebraska_ ? Not a synth to be found on the entire album (and only ONE song with an electric guitar).
👍
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
You know I love the way Frida is! I would not change anything about her! and the original photo shows her the way She is! funny, smiling, happy...and I don't see the need to modify it, specially because She wanted to share it just like that...sorry I don´t like the modified photo you made...with respect is my humble opinion
No, that's ok. I'm aware some prefer the original, as well do some the altered version. I've included both versions in enhanced super high resolution for download in the description, so you can choose your favourite.
Interesting music choice "And When the Waves Roll Out to Sea".
It’s one of the least likely to be hit by a copyright strike, since it’s never officially been released. Also… I love this piece of music!
MUCH IMPROVED WOW. GREAT JOB. MADE HER LOOK A LOT MORE REGAL.
Could you do a photoshop video tutorial?
Peter Howell Used That Very Synthesizer For Doctor Who From 1980 To 1985
I didn't know someone could make a CS-80 sound so bad.
Thought about a Casio KB hearing this the first time ...
You’re forgetting Paul McCartney
@@carps898 Please forgive my ignorance; which Macca track(s)?
@@YouzTube99 Wonderful Christmastime
@@carps898 Ugh. That. The official vid matches the cheesiness: ruclips.net/video/94Ye-3C1FC8/видео.html And yet, he's collected ~$20M in royalties for it so far.
CS-80 is the true legend! It's pitty that Bruce was involved in that stupid propaganda. Conquering wars produce heroes never! *(edit): my bad! The meaning of the song is strongly opposite of what I've thought before. Always check the lyrics!* You can imagine large fields, high mountains and frosty air in the mood of this composition... instead of a war drama and patriotic feelings that was meant to be called by "Born in the USA". The words can be changed easily and these riffs and the solid feel of this song will remain the same.
It is anti war
It is antiwar and also against the way America treats its own people. It is anything but a patriotic celebration.
@@RadicalCaveman Yeah, you're right! My bad. I've checked the lyrics now. I was sure too much about "what I hear" and what it really means. :-/
0:52 when you find that special water jet in the pool.
7000$ synth.
20k!
25k now, if you can afford the up keep on this thing.
It was $7000+ in mid 70s Dollars, that is like $40 000 today.
120k now
130k
The boss. lol
so... cringy
God Springsteen is so fucking overrated...
+Kris Miller And to add to that his mediocre backing band is inducted in the RnR HOF, yet greats like Chicago, Deep Purple, and many others aren't in yet. Aint that some bullshit politics at work.....
I've always felt the same, but I have to say I was pleased to hear that he used a synth of mine on this classic track. Whether Mr. Springsteen chose this instrument is up for debate - I suspect it was Steve Porcaro's call, not Bruce's.
i think the synthesizer is horribly out of tune.
+Marcusmiller Nah, sounds more like he has the "BEND" lever down for the initial touch response. It slides the pitch up to what ever notes you're playing, and is touch sensitive. It's meant for simulating that "Brass" pitch stab... however, when it is pulled all the way down, the synth sounds a bit too ...... wonky.
+Adam Borseti no, it's just out of tune I think.
+Marcusmiller these electric synths should be tuned after years stored. four trimpots controls the pitch.
It sounds in tune to me, but the initial pitchbend touch response setting needs to be reduced a notch or two. Push the resonance up a bit and you've got the sound spot on.
Matthew Cannon That's what I said. It's that initial touch..... but no, I'm just retarded.
No what you have is an idiot presenter hired to talk rubbish on what appears to be some sycophantic dross put out by the BBC. Couldn't they do a programme on some better qualified musicians that have used and not abused this instrument?
Like Peter Howell re-arranging the theme to the BBC's own series Doctor Who in 1980.
Dude, if you think that Bruce Springsteen is not a "qualified musician" you better check your knowledge of all the legendary rock musicians of that era.
Ole three chord bruce. Yeah a real pillar of arrangement and composition.
I didn't say he was. If your arrangements aren't complex it doesn't mean you are a bad musician. He is a great lyricist.
Three cord arrangements are methadone for the uneducated masses. Consisting almost entirely of Ionian and aeolian.
