Always enjoy and appreciate your reviews. Well, I owned a few other libraries so my cost was $134. In addition to only recording one velocity layer for legatos, they also don't have vibrato crossfading. The increase/decrease in volume of the longs, and the vibrato build up after a set amount of seconds per patch, is it's own benefit - and the library sounds pretty good. One thing that sold it for me was that I like the simplicity of using it for layering with nucleus or jaeger. And it's super cool of them to add a vocal soloist.

With horns from ARK1 did you use here ?

The definition for CineBrass is far superior. Talos sound really muffled and not a good thing for brass in my opinion and would need EQs

Doesn't matter, ya know why? Cause Iceni is processed, and you can process LLS in the same way. Just tune it down an octave, mix the sub channel in -6db or so, and add a dynamic saturation mapped to the mod wheel. In fact you can pretty much make anything sound like Iceni that way, even BBCSO Discover (well not staccato, but that's because they don't have round robins, and Sine Helix is a better option anyways).

So, which one do you reccomend? I need a VST with shouts!

I bought Nuclus Core ages ago and have been using it ever since. However, I'm confused as to why my Staccatissimo doesn't have that green articulation key. I recall having it when I was using the Lite version, but somehow it's missing in the Core version. I've been reading the manual, but I can't seem to find a way to fix it. I apologize for asking, but I'm not sure where else to seek help.

“Tripple F” is called a fortississimo. PPP is called Pianississimo. FF is fortíssimo while f is called forte. P is piano and PP is pianissimo. MF IS Mezzo forte….This is definitely a video I’ve been wanting to see so thanks man!

Ngl I went in blind buying the $300 Cinematic Strings 2 (thinking it was CSS), and I initially thought CSS was better after buying. But I also never heard CSS. So a clear comparison of the two really made me proud of my purchase.

Jaeger seems to have an overall greater "weight" than ARK, but ARK seems a bit better at preserving a separation of the individual instruments. Jaeger seems to leave very little frequency gaps, whereas ARK preserves a bit of "air" or "space" within the frequency range. I wouldn't consider one better than the other, just different but similar tools depending on what results you want. Not what I'd call an apples to oranges comparison, but maybe more like a Granny Smith to Honeycrisp apples comparison.

I just bought Amy and Maggie. It's much better than EastWest Fantasy Voices in my opinion. They should continue this serie, I think

Well, all I can notice is that CS2 is much dryer and sound closer opposed to the stage feeling of CSS so it's not necessarily that one is better than the other.

Jaeger sounds too robotic to me. Ark 1 sounds more organic. Thanks for the comparison

Metropolis sounds more Orchestral, or more in a room. For me it sounds better and more organic. Personally I would choose the Metropolis one.

ARK 1 has more low end and the Jaeger has more open strings. For darker thriller style productions, I would go for ARK1.
