I got my phone interview for Beauty Consultant this Monday! Wish me luck ❤🎯

Question. So I applied to be a lead beauty advisor by accident as I thought it was a regular beauty advisor job and I’ve never worked retail and I thought that they weren’t going to hire me but I ended up getting an email and they want to interview me . I barely know about makeup and skin care and extremely shy, but I’ve been jobless for two months. So I was terrified that they wanted to interview me but at the same time I’m happy since I could potentially get a job. So any tips?

Make sure you let everyone know that the Esthetician market has always been slow, it's still slow, and there aren't enough open positions for the number of people getting certified so the market is saturated. Unless you have a clientele and have the financial means to work for yourself... consider that field.

I'm starting on Wednesday as a prestige beauty advisor!!! I'm nervous but I'm glad people have many videos like this about the experience and pros and cons. For me, this is a side job as I'm a newly signed model as well which honestly pays more than Ulta but as I get the modeling side running and more consistent I'm doing this Ulta job part time!! It's a small Ulta store by my house so hopefully it won't be too bad.

I'm thinking of changing my career from grooming to Waxing. I already have my license, but i don't want to job hop forever. Being a groomer i would only be able to get cash tips and 40%-50% commission. While EWC has hourly, service commission, tips, and sales commission. I need a job with a livable wage.

I'm debating on whether to go back to EWC. Right now i work at a job that has a 15$ hr pay but that's it. I want a job that can help me live on my own, and is the pay worth it for a permanent job. I don't want to send the rest of my life job hopping.

Do tips and commission show up on your pay stubs?
