Hello. I grew up on a mid-west dairy farm, but spent my working career in the iron foundry industry in IT, engineering, maintenance, and quality systems. My wife started out on a farm and worked in variety of jobs as well. That experience plus our interests and hobbies taught us many valuable skills. My wife and I are now both retired and hope to share what we've learned in a way that is both entertaining and useful to a wide audience. Our goal is to provide information relevant to people across multiple life stages, retired or not. Topics will include retirement, remaining healthy at any age, and staying engaged in meaningful activities with specific tips on things like cooking, repairs, construction, and travel. House Refresh Part 7: Skim coating spalling concrete
I had to move the woodpile in preparation for the major upgrade work on our house this summer and discovered that the concrete footing for the garage was spalling badly. I dealt with that by applying some vinyl cement patch material in this installment of our series on upgrading the exterior.
Note that I’m not promoting any of the specific items used in the video. They are what I used at the time and other comparable things may work just as well.

Sounds like you have a good plan. In my case, they run all over the shed, so I place the traps in the main pathways around the perimeter.

Yes, and it needs to be rebuilt. Bought it at a salvage yard. A winter project once I get my workshop finished.
Good video, I have a 606 with 2001 loader. little newer version of your tractor. I had to remove the front end just to remove oil pan so I could replace rod bearings for better oil pressur. My front crank shaft seal leaks a lot as does the cyl on the bucket. Thinking about tire chains, but my chains are only 23 in wide and dont fit the 16.9 28 real good. lookin forward to more videos.
Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. I grew up on a farm with IH/Farmall tractors including the 1939 M my grandfather bought. The one picture is me on the Farmall B. We traded an H for a 340 in the early 60's. There aren't a lot of us farm kids left around anymore.

Home baked bread, yum! And you can use your prefered flours such as organic, ancient grains, whole wheat etc. You can add raisins and cinnamon or onions and herbs, or potatoes or yams, its endless! These cost a fortune to buy, IF you can find them!
Thanks for the feedback! I dabble with different flour combinations and baking times to dial in on the best results. One has to be flexible with the process depending on humidity and temperature.
