He bought their lowest tier, worst quality hat. It's a fair price for what he got. Is it the best hat? Obviously not...but he didn't pay for what a good quality hat is worth either, so it's not the company's fault that he got a sub-par product in exchange for the cheap price he paid.

I think the hat is usd100. Shipping costed a bomb frm Ecuador via Miami to Malaysia during the first round of pandemic lockdowns. Over usd150 total. But if you wanna try something like this from the other side of the planet, it is the price to pay

​@@sophiste78 Just because a hat is fino or its price is high does not guarantee that it is a Montecristi. I do not see any seller clarifying this, and if there are ways to recognize it, the Montecristi hat if it is something protected, it has a denomination of origin. In many stores sell fine hats but very few are Montecristis, I see people paying too much for hats woven in Cuenca, Peru or Colombia. Not all Montecristis are fino, because of the demand hats of lower quality are woven, therefore the prices can be much lower. If you know where to look you can get for a little more than $6000 the famous $25000 hat woven by Simon Espinal.

I don't love it. I've paid 10 bucks for similar hats. I see the advantage of not going fine so the hat breathes better, but then they lined it and defeated the whole purpose. Still looks decent, but I would cut the lining out.

Thanks. The trousers, are dress trousers in a trad style...tailored, cut to my size with its own paper cutting kept by my tailor. It is high waisted, no belt loops, side adjusters, tailored fit, tapered to the ankle, slight break at the end, nearly two inch cuff. I do wear slim fit trousers from khakis to chinos, but when I want to look my best, I wear trousers like these.

@@AngeloHidalgod gucci shoe quality is generally very low, a lot of glued construction, you pay more for the brand then the quality.

@@AngeloHidalgod John Lobb is top end, very good quality. I just prefer Santoni because the John Lobb shoes are a bit plain in terms off the looks. Santoni limited editions are absolutely amazing though.
