I've been bored today and rummaging around in some old music files, and I came across this song. Semtex were a couple of lovely guys called Simon and Justin. They wrote the music and lyrics, and I sang. This is the only song we worked on that I have a recording of. We sadly drifted out of contact and I often think of them and wonder if life was good to them. I do hope so.

@@Limus-ke8pc Ah ok! I wrote the music using the digital audio workstation Cubase and I made the video with a free video editor called Shotcut. With the video, I used video footage I'd taken, and then manipulated it with filters in Shotcut. I hope that helps!
I seem to have gotten 2 copyright claims against my original track - which has no samples and I wrote in full. I do not know the songs in question either. I'm perplexed to be honest 🤷

@@lukasvideosify1596 I predominantly just write music, and occasionally I put vocals to them. They are still called songs with or without vocals! 🙂
@@trudig4258 It is okay with me if you want to call things however you want. But here is a definition from Google: . Does a song need to have vocals? According to dictionary definitions, yes. Music without singing (such as the theme to Chariots of Fire) counts as an instrumental. And singing without music is called a capella. But people do not always use words correctly, so you might hear an instrumental described as a song.19.05.2022
