Whoa who whoa what are you doing bro. You are giving out too much info with your videos It’s like breaking the guy code with the chicks lol good stuff man, I just came across your channel and nothing but great quality intel. Thanks
Thanks Mike! And your right. But we feel that if people see the value I'm giving here, I would hope they'll see how much more value they'll get by joining my Roofing Business Builder coaching program. It will save 5 or more years of their lives and $10s if not $100s of thousands in mistakes. 😁
Wow! I guess I'll be working on my mindset now :)
You got this!
It must be good because the podcast is amazing
Thanks bud!
Good shit homie
I just saw I missed your comment. Thank you so much Colin! I'm getting my systems under control now that life is getting back to normal. I'll keep putting some more good shit out for us! 😉😁
Can you please make a video about subcontracting roofing projects and how to word it in the proposal for the past performance section? Thank you, and this is primarily for Federal contracting.
Yes! I'd be happy to do that. Thanks for the suggestion.
Very informative!
Glad it was helpful!
Can you do a video about FAR 52.214-9 I believe, basically the subcontracting rules? I'm interested in roofing but would like to gain past performance by hiring subcontractors to carry out the project and I'd manage it; however, with the gray areas, I'm trying to avoid "pass-through schemes". Please give make content regarding the subcontracting rules and roofing. Thank you!
I just saw that we missed your comment. FAR 52.214-9 is pretty typical for any bid. However, I don't think you need to be concerned about pass-through schemes. If you're the primary on the contract, as long as your subs have the certification or license with the manufacture of the specified product, you're fine. You're set as long as the sub with the certification does the installation for you. A pass-through scheme would be if you were to submit your subs certification and not use the sub to do the work, but instead use your own employees knowing your company doesn't have the certifications to do the job. Thanks for this awesome question. I'll look at doing a video on this. Sorry again for missing your comment.
Thanks Daniel!!
My pleasure Alex! Great job!
❤🌹 God bless you 🙏🙏!!! Do not waste your time - Promo-SM !!
Thanks Cybill! Sorry I missed your comment. 🙏🙏💖
Actually, you CAN get no bid contracts on city/state level. In the Federal Acquisition Regulations, solicitations under 750k for federal, 150k for state, & 25k for city go for no bids. Though it varies! S/o to Global Connects
Have you received one yet
Sorry we missed your comment. Yes you can. States governments including local municipalities use no bid purchasing coops. Consider becoming a vendor for the TIPS Purchasing Cooperative: www.tips-usa.com/
Pointless video
Thank you for your comment! Sorry that you were disjointed. However, this video was made specifically for the commercial roofing contractor. Most of the subscribers to this channel are roofing contractors that should understand what a tapered roofing systems is, but yet they are to shy to offer these solutions to their customers. If you were wanting to learn more about these systems and see the actual process of putting down a tapered system, which was explained in the video as "the solution to pounding water," there is a link to that in the description: "To learn more about crickets and tapered insulation, check out this tutorial from my friends at Hunter Panels ruclips.net/video/ZTJZJqI2TiM/видео.html "
Great video 💯
Glad you enjoyed
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I'm not into roofing but this cuts across any good or service.
Absolutely! I'm glad it was helpful to you
Working together, wow that’s a new thought! 💭
True. Isn't it great if everybody wins!
🙏💪🙌
This has been really helpful
Thank you. There's a link in the description if you'd like to see how the system goes down. ;)
How can we find the purchasing officer ? The contract out for bid does not have the information,.
Hey Zainab! You can find purchasing officers through SBA and GSA. Here's a link for the GSA: www.gsa.gov/buying-selling/purchasing-programs Let me know how it goes for you.
Eric Smause, you were an excellent guest! Thank you so much for sharing those amazing stories.
Thanks also, from the Team at Roofing Business Builder!
So much great info! I'm not in the roofing business but the things presented here was extremely helpful! I'm very new to the small biz owner world, and just doing my research, regarding gov't contracts. Did I hear you say that there was another webinar with Chip in it? If so, I'd love a link! In the meantime, I will be searching through your RUclips Channel. Looks like you have some great content available! Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for letting us know that their website link wan't in the description. We've now updated the description to have it. Here's the link: www.fedprofits.com/
you didnt show anything except your stupid mustache.
I couldn’t hear him . Do u mind commenting the website he said visit?
Thank you for letting us know. I just updated the description to have it. Here's the link: www.fedprofits.com/
Did not show how to fix anything at all, a real head scratcher this one.
Sorry Julius. This video was made for roofing contractors. It's was intended to help them know that it's better to let a building owner know that this can happen and that it's the roofer's obligation to offer the building owner a tapered system or crickets. I'll make another video on this subject in the future that will go into more detail. Here's a link to Hunter Panels' cricket installation training so you'll be able to understand what would have solved the pounding water problem.
