Midnight Voyage (Joey Calderazzo) - Matt Johns Solo piano using Spectrasonics Keyscape.
My rendition of “midnight voyage” by the great joey calderazzo. I played this on a gig the other day with my quartet, and wanted to record a solo version.
Joey is a killer composer and jazz pianist, his recording credits include the late great Michael Brecker, Jeff tain watts, Branford Marsalis.
I Recorded this with Logic Pro x and used the amazing keyscape Yamaha c7 sample. Keyscape is an amazing piece of software, offering some of the best piano/keyboard based samples on the market!!

I thought of playing my favourite jazz waltz, 'Some day my prince will come' on guitar for a change. Love the tone of this guitar now!! Guitar rig 5 has some really nice presets..

This is a track i made in cubase using nord stage 2ex as controller, it is named after Mark Guiliana as i used a beat he played as the main groove. This turned out a little herbie-esque. The Rhodes sample is scarbee, best vst rhodes on the market! If you dig it give it a like and share. Matt
