Word of warning for anyone who doesn't know. That "T stop" dulls the blade faster. Not to mention it's just bad practice to use that stop. It's incredibly inefficient. Anyone who is somewhat serious about learning how to skate should avoid that stop. The real T stop is where you put the foot you're stopping with right behind the leading foot making a literal T shape. Usually having the feet touch or close to touching. Then learn back a bit and stop with the back foot using the outside edge.
