UkeeTube presents the scenery, characters and culture of Ucluelet, often known as Ukee, as well as Tofino and the surrounding area on Vancouver Island's west coast. Sunsets, wildlife, surfing and events from Barkley to Clayoquot Sound and beyond that travelers and locals alike will enjoy.
The creator, Geoff Johnson is a professional musician and media-maker who lives with his wife Tara and cat Stig in Ucluelet. Every once in a while other content he has created will end up here, too

Chinook Salmon Sport Fishing Adventure in Ucluelet, Vancouver Island with Salmon Eye Charters
In late August we were invited to go fishing with Salmon Eye Charters out of Ucluelet. It was a fun day on the water, we filled up our cooler and had a ton of laughs;
Fishing is a way of life from many in Ucluelet. Fishermen have plied their trade in these waters for eons. Before the commercial fleets started dwindling people flocked from around the world for the bounty the sea provides here.
Before that (and still today) the First Nations people of the region revered the fish, particularly the salmon, for the life they bring, not just to the people but to the ocean, streams and land.
Today a relatively small commercial fishing fleet continues to work the waters around Ucluelet.

Part wholesome family arts and crafts event and part blood-sport Box Parade is perhaps the most charming annual event in Tofino. If you happen to be in Tofino on April 28th of any given year make sure you're downtown at 7pm-ish. I read it's a $3000 fine for drone flying there. There's a helipad nearby or something.
Depending on your qualifications and the classification of your UAV some people can legally fly in places others can’t. Also, many of the general beliefs about where you can fly out here are based on out of date regulations that have changed. Published information on local government websites and signs often aren’t in line with actual current regulations.

I believe it’s the mate. Thats why the lure is sort of squid shaped. You’re catching them bumping into eachother not trying to feed

Sad to see it in this shape. I have an old memory of riding this boat as a kid when she operated from Quadra to Cortes. I just remember how the seats on it were all old and how small of a boat it was.
It was towed out a few months ago, now. I’ve been told that it might be being converted into a mobile production off for the film industry around False Creek in Vancouver but that’s not much more than a rumour.

right now what is the condition of the road to falls is it still blocked or they cleared the road
I drove it a couple weeks ago. Very passable for any sort of vehicle with decent ground clearance
