Yes, double headed turtle, rotten wing insignia, great shield talisman and crimson seed talisman +1, helping me through the dlc.

Took me about an hour, really tough but a really well done fight. Have you considered using the Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana, the ash of war is very useful in the fight.

I respect that, midir is still amazing but the spectacle of this fight is just a step above.

I diasgree, bayle design is great sure, but the effects of the boss are just stray lightning bolts and fire around the place. Then again i could be glorifying midir because i hold him close to my heart as a older boss, but i didnt like the bayle fight much at all and i found him easier than alot of the other dlc bosses

Fair enough, midirs fight is great, just the second phase transition in bayles fight and his arena is an amazing sceptical and his design is better imo. Still love midir tho

@@SoulsBro5 fair enough, it's just a shame that all the other dragons in that game could've been unique but instead are filler.

Completely agree with that, placidusax is fun but not amazing, the rest are boring and kinda annoying to fight for the most part.

A few, but this boss is a very well balenced, hes difficult but people saying it’s too hard is crazy.

​@@SoulsBro5Messmer is commonly thought of as one of the most fair bosses along with Midra. People have a problem with PCR who is stupid in terms of boss design imo

I’ve seen many people complain about messmer being too difficult along with a lot of other bosses in the dlc, PCR is a challenge, that’s what these games are about, people said Melania was broken and unfair and now she’s a loved boss fight. But I think the fact that the dlc was getting mixed reviews for it being too difficult is sad to see because the difficulty is what makes these games unique and so fun.

Make sure you get dlc ready 💪

Dodge is easier I would say. But practice with parry soon builds the muscle memory 👍

Yeah you lose the buff when you unequip since itd be op on two handed weapons

@@mohamedbinishaq3169 im pretty sure its just that the animation for the spell is a two handed one so it visually puts away your shield/offhand weapon but doesnt actually unequip it from the game’s eyes, preserving the jellyfish buff. I think maybe its just hard to tell since its a Short that cuts off right before his guy would auto re-equip it after the animation, tho im not positive since it does kinda look like there was maybe enough time to show him beginning to pull the shield back out automatically…. Edit: this thread made me look into it, and apparently theres some glitches that were CREATED by more recent patches that allow you to maintain the buff while even fully unequipping the shield, and that keeps it perpetually red since the color is determined by if the buff is still active, so maybe he was doing that?
