every time i watch lotr related interviews from this time.. it just takes me back like it was yesterday. the first movie came to cinema when i was 10. i saw it in denmark. and growing up a scandinavien person, i always connected to the stories and i just love them so much. enya will always go hand in hand with lotr for me. i can never hear her and not think of it. such a wonderful woman.

As she told in many interviews, she doesn't want to be famous, but let the music be famous and speak for itself. There are so many great famous musicians, yet her music is probably embossed in my soul the deepest from all of them. I am a musician myself, but I don't crave any form of a fame. I just want people to understand and enjoy what I produce. That is all I want. And only recently I realized how much I understand her approach and actually behave the same way. ... I listen to her music sine my childhood, and I still even have an original cassette tape Watermark and listen to that occasionally. I can never get bored of her. <3
