Why does he need a full sized truck? In another comment, he said the boat and trailer weighs in around 4000#’s. A V6 frontier is rated for 6000# +/- towing capacity. The next question would be tongue weight and payload of the truck. Given this trailer is tandem axle, it shouldn’t have much tongue weight on it, and make for a much nicer towing experience. As for your comment, @adamn1915, it’s also about priorities, how far he’s trailering, the terrain he’s trailering on, etc. if the vehicle is rated for it, both tow and payload wise, go for it. Looks to me like he’s living within his means!
