Lifelong Learning Lecture: AI is My Partner In Creativity
Guest speaker: Dr. Steven Courchesne, Instructional Designer, Framingham State University
Using generative AI, we can quickly generate many answers to questions we ask. In addition to super-charging our brainstorm session, we can ask AI to be a thought partner and offer us feedback on our ideas. There is a lot of potential for AI to help us in creative thinking.
In this talk, we explore some of these affordances and likewise consider how critical thinking is a necessary ingredient for using AI as a partner in creativity.

Im glad you enjoyed your trip to Haworth. Your pictures are a wonderful reminder.
Wonderful telling of the story of the Brontes. I grew up very near to Haworth and spent much time there in that most magical of places. The presence of the sisters can be felt all around but perhaps most of all on the wild open space of the moorlands. Such genius and such tragedy. You tell of their evening activities, but I remember a quote by one of the sisters which stated the importance of have half the days work completed by 10am. Such noble and disciplined women. Thank you for a most enjoyable video.
What a wonderful lecture. I have often read Ulysses and Im currently reading Idyls of the King. It all started a few years ago with a James Bond movie where Q recites a few stirring lines from Ulysses in the courthouse.

That was really interesting and enjoyable. My wife and I live on the Isle of Wight and we visited Farringford just a couple of weeks ago. You mention TS Eliot several times and listening to the poems and extracts you read I can hear the echoes in Eliot's poems. The Wasteland, as you said but also The Journey of the Magi and probably others. Thank you!

❤ aaah thank you yes i am reveling in this feeling, filling with healing calming breaths. i am enjoying this moment (to take words from your meditation). thank you!
My reading on Dickens convinces me that the ideas for "The Pickwick Papers" came from Dickens' first illustrator (whom he drove to suicide), Robert Seymour; and the ideas for "Oliver Twist" came from George Cruikshank (as Cruikshank revealed after Dickens died). I've found compelling evidence that Dickens didn't write "A Christmas Carol" at all--he plagiarized it from an American couple named Mathew and Abby Whittier. Dickens merely commercialized it within six weeks for quick cash. He does appear to have re-written the character of the Ghost of Christmas Present. The original author who wrote the Ghosts was a vegetarian, but Dickens depicted this ghost seated on a throne of meat dishes. One interesting fact is that this description in the text was so gross, even the illustrator, John Leech, had the Ghost surrounded by meat dishes, but didn't show him sitting on them. Note that Dickens only re-wrote the Ghost of Christmas Present in the opening scene. In the scene which immediately follows, he and Scrooge are in a market, and no meat is mentioned there, at all. That's because that scene picks up again with the original vegetarian author's text.
Bah humbug!!
Beautifully played!!
Dr HH enlivens her lecture with interesting anecdotes and digressions which shed a sliver of light on Tennyson as friend, husband, son, a mild-eyed melancholic, a public figure, and above all a consummate artist. She wears her awesome erudition very lightly so as to make Tennyson accessible. even to non-specialist.
Proud to be part of this presentation and series as a whole! Keep up the great work, FPL!
THANK YOU I ENJOY YOUR BIRDER !
This presentation by Dr. Heineman is a newly discovered jewel for me. I've listened to it a few times already, and trust I'll be back again for many more. So thorough, so enjoyable, so wish there'd be more presentations of this caliber! Thank you, Dr. Heineman, for your explanation, and thank you, Framington Public Library, for posting.. .
I appreciate your time!
Beautiful Playing Amira!!!
Way to go! You need to look into P R O M O S M!!!
I will never forget a conversation we had online - where I bragged about my father’s naval aviation career- and you answered with your father’s career 😂! Damn. I don’t denigrate my father in anyway but gratefully acknowledge the dose of humility you gave me vicariously prideful in nothing I earned but inherited. I am also grateful we are related. 😂
I couldn't attend live, thank you for posting to RUclips!
Really a splendid recital. All are marvellously performed
