Nice video. Let's say you don't have a keyboard and the portable monitor doesn't have a touchscreen. When you click on a field with the mouse on the second monitor, does the virtual keyboard appear? Does it appear In the phone screen or in the phone monitor?

No this is not it. I want to span two monitors from DEX through a Displayport hub. The hub has a hdmi and vga outputs both of which work perfectly at the same time. But I can only mirror the DEX display. It was possible to span them back in 2017 or 2018 but this feature has now been permanently disabled by order of whom - who knows. Maybe because Samsung and Huawei who make the DEX and EMUI desktop environment also sell Windows laptops and want their phones desktop environments to be less useful. So I have to keep using a Windows 10 laptop for no real reason other than I must have spanned monitors. c'est la vie
