The phoenix stand is a solid piece of translucent plastic. It’s barely articulated. To charge the cost of an entire figure for it is absolutely absurd.

Hasbro is definitely hitting it out of the park this year and putting Todd the odd mcfarlane back in his place showing him how it’s done

I have to say... we're buying the stand with this one. The regular face isn't good, and the possessed look is ok.

I like this review; it shows that I made the right choice to purchase the custom 3D printed Phoenix stand on eBay.

If you want to make that left ear pointy apply heat from a blow dryer or heat gun for no more than ten seconds flex the ear upward with your fingers under cold water and it will hold its shape.

I think it sucks they have legs with sculpted boot tips and they go and just paint the boot tips on. Besides that, she looks great.

Jealous af, but I definitely think i'm going to sell the phoenix/stand on ebay it just seems wonky and I'm not really a stand guy anyways.

The birds wings should've been bigger or to add a clip on span...the middle portion really wasn't needed only a thin attached pole to connect the bird to the base...either way we have a Marvel legends Phoenix bird

Thanks for the review. One thing that I noticed is that it seems like the greens of her costume are now matching because in the promos the green color of her torso didn’t match her limbs so I’m glad they fixed it in production. Sometimes Hasbro don’t fix those flaws like She Hulk’s mismatched knees. I would have canceled my pre-order had they not fixed it. Also I think the price would have been justified if she comes with an extra set of hands. I like the extra hands that came with Siryn. I think it would have been perfect for Phoenix. Lastly I wished she came with two extra heads. As a matter of fact the Marvel Legends team could have engineered heads with swappable hair like how the GI Joe Classified team have been doing it. So you got the two hair pieces and four bald heads. 1 neutral head with normal eyes, 1 neutral head with powered up eyes, 1 smiling head and 1 angry head. That I think would have been a solid deluxe figure.

Good figure, but not for that price point, the faces are also kind of weak, better ones on the classic version with Cyclops two pack. The best head is the one that you use more on the video, but the other is really meh, even on animated series Guardian Phoenix was more stoic. They forgot the great face of Goblin Queen animated series.

Mafex is way better imo. Mafex’s sculpt and color is more comics accurate. She doesnt look perfect at all. 😢

I got tired of collecting same old same old wolverine figures so was happy when legends released the deadpool movie wolverine and his new costume with sleeves which is a welcome change since there are countless sleeveless variants of wolverine.

Another great video and I really appreciate the extra early review!!! I've been collecting for over 15 years and I will have to say that I agree with you 100% that this is most definitely one of Hasbro best years of action figures especially when it comes to the ML line.
