Vampires live at night. But filming 26 episodes 13 months in a row at night would be impossible. So almost all scenes were shot day for night. Die Erben der Nacht - Germany. I've made a video about Skid Row in Los Angeles. Skid Row is an area of 50 blocks in the middle of LA where more than 10.000 homeless people live every day. It looks like an unfriendly area, until you start talking with the people. You can check out more of my work at www.rolfdekens.com.

I was there in 1992 it was rough but I got help and god to get me up out of it, you really did justice e to show their story. God bless you man❤

Why they color grade so dark if they can keen bright
These scenes have to show that our lead actress is getting into trouble by entering the head quarters of the enemy. By desaturation you can give the shots a less comfortable look and feel.
Season 3 must comming. I have still hope❤❤❤

I've watched Heirs of the night here in the Philippines aaannd..... The show is so f**king great and so much amazing. The visual effects are very realistic. Great! I wish there's the next season for this! 😊 I like it very much (including the whole story) I am only sad and feel 💔 because my favorite character there (Dracula) is dead already 😭😭😭 R.I.P. to my Dracula 😭😭😭 Anyway...what do I do... That's the way the story is so... I can only wish a miracle for his character there. 🙏

I just discovered the show 2 days ago, and finished binging it before my exams. I'm sharing it with everyone in my family. I would love if there was a season 3 to continue the story. Also, I love all the techniques behind the production of the show. It's really amazing!!! One of the first things that attracted me to the show was the fact that it didn't look 'cheap', the scenes are well shot and edited for a kids/teen show comparatively to many others. I love the dedication of the crew and hope they'll return for more seasons!!!
Y'all did a wonderful job with this series, like the cinematography of this is ✨amazing✨, i do hope there will be a news soon for season 3 since it kinda ended with a cliffhanger ya know?😅

He is mocking those people,I know I was there,they come down to the row with their cameras take pictures of the people and go back to their condo call their friends over and mock the people they have photographed.Why was the guy taking the pictures laughing so much?There is nothing funny about skid row,if you couldn't tell.
I was laughing because they made me. I didn't go back into my condo. I went to a lab and printed the photos. Spend half a day looking for them to give them the pictures. It's a small thing, I know. But at least it's better than writing a mean comment on RUclips while taking a dump.
Beautiful video and work. As someone who grew up in LA seeing Skid Row's population continually increase, it was refreshing to see a photographer who laughed alongside these people rather than simply being an onlooker searching for an edgy shot. Thank you for this!
