I've just revisited this from long ago. This for me was a very immature entry into expressing fa jin. Master Huang Sheng Shyan passed his art through his incredibly sincere, powerful, and dedicated indoor student Patrick Kelly, who in turn returned to New Zealand and proceeded to train what he had learnt directly from the master and the master's older indoor students to us his senior students. It was a wonderful genuine school situation where I would on many occasions do 3 classes a day 5 days a week with long class on Saturday mornings, sometimes the was a Sunday class, but that is another story. To be continued . . .
Robert W. Smith...I have reread your book on CMC dozens of times and continues to bring me New Insights. SO WONDERFUL 1000 Thank Yous...I have studied and learned of this Martial Way through Mike Milewski...whom trained with you and directly from Ben Lo.
Very well done, very good clear use of fajin. Loved the uprooting in the second push. I have shared this with my students.

Hi different Rob Smith
P.s this of course is an expression of fa jin within the 'push', and not something that would used normally in push-hands . . .
let me clearly state here this demonstration does not represent how pat kelly expresses his tai chi. rob
why do you say that?
Which part of what I have said would you like to know about?
