Regular trims, low heat, normal hair care methods are recommended. I’m a stylist and been slowly dusting my own hair with my shears the last couple days (I needed it been putting hot tools on my hair too much 🫣). My hair looks sooo much better. Allow a professional to help you with this if you’re not 10000% sure what you are doing!!!

You will not get rid of breakage/split ends but cutting them. They are shorter hairs. You have to do treatments, cuts, etc. This does not stop split ends

I can see where some people may benefit more from this being done. Like when growing layers out and they're starting to have split ends.
