Shows County and district boundaries overlaid on a map of Ontario's townships. the animation ends at 1902 with the separation of Manitoulin from Algoma district, where the historic counties reach their final boundaries. any change after that (i.e. the breakup of Ontario county) was made under a different system than the one shown here.

Where can I find the list of counties? Wikipedia?
Hi AJ Wikipedia does have a list of counties and the townships that comprise them. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_townships_in_Ontario However, it is important to note that many townships amalgamated and the aforementioned list of townships does not reflect the current administrative reality.
