Yeah, missing them no VAT HK prices, ever since moving to the UK. I grew up in HK, and I used to go to the Golden Center all the time.

Hiya I'm no longer in hong kong so not so sure the current prices. But definitely go here to the golden computer arcade. This is the cheapest place you find. The only thing to remember is the guarantee will be for hong kong only but I don't think that matters.

Hi, it was about 60USD a day, it's not cheap but hong kong isn't. There are much cheaper in Chungking Mansions but most of those rooms are even smaller and no window. There is a link for this room in the description. Thanks for your comment and take a look at some of my other hong kong videos😁

Hi thanks for the comment. Yeah I have about 10 videos about hong kong. It's really an amazing place I know it's not like it used to be. I grew up there in the 90s but honestly everywhere in the 90s was different. Hong Kong whilst it may not be perfect it's still a place I love. Check out some of my other hk videos. Not sure if you saw but on my channel I have an airbnb video. The Airbnb I stayed in was close to Chungking Mansions and was small but nice. The link to that airbnb is in the description of that video. If you really want to stay In Chungking then I recommend Travellers Hostel in A block. It's about the best one. Thanks for the comment

But I might have a +1 with me so still not sure. I've been the biggest fan of WKW's Chungking Express so I would prefer staying near Kowloon/Tsim Tsa Tsui and Chungking Mansions

@@arkadeepmitra3429 thanks for watching. Chungking Express is my favourite film, I love WKW and Christopher Doyles cinematography. The air bnb I stayed in is walking distance from Chungking. Check bookings dot com for rooms and go with the one with the highest amount of reviews and highest score. I think it is actually Travellers Hostel, I spent 3yrs in travellers hostel back in the late 90s was very different back was a communal area and you make lots of friends I don't think it's like that now. The is a great video on RUclips with Christopher Doyle and Anthony bourdain about Chungking Mansions and Chungking Express I recommend watching it.

@@arkadeepmitra3429 For me I am a kowloon boy, I feel Kowloon is the real Hong Kong. The Island is more finance and for the wealthier people. For me I love Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan and Mongkok and no I never got to see Faye Wong in concert hahahah I wish!

I lived in HK for 8yrs from 1996 to 2004 then I moved to Manila then Bangkok, now Madrid. I agree it isn't like it was back then, but honestly nowhere is. I still spend a month a year in HK where I have my oldest friends, mostly HK citizens and its still an incredible place to be. Sorry you don't like it, and i can understand why some people wouldn't, but I cant deny its one of my favourite places in the world. Thanks for your comment though I appreciate hearing your view its good to know. 😊

Agree Bangkok for shopping is way better. I lived for 10yrs in Hong Kong, 5yrs in Bangkok and 3yrs in Manila. I still love all these places though. They are fun to explore but HK is getting too expensive.
