Don't quite understand whats different with the original version. is it that the enemy can shoot you from far longer distances?
Turrets have significantly longer range, theres more enemies on the stage, ranks are distinctly themed (rank 1 is turret hell, rank 3 deals with tripwires and drones, and so on), and it takes 20 tapes to rank up instead of 5. Theres also a lot of other minor changes involved that I cant remember off the top of my head but basically game is way way harder
