My Happy Place! Been in 10 times. Once thru Hum lake. You really need to let people know that it is a grunt to get in there no matter what direction you come from.

This is a place called Enos Lake in northern Idaho. It is a really pretty spot with a jumping cliff into the lake,with some other spots you can go to as well. There is around 4-5 different campsite locations(nost of them just basic fire pit and maybe some small flat areas with some spots for hammocks) but be warned it is somewhat difficult and somewhat long to get to with lots of ups and downs. I would not recommend it for a beginner and do not to go alone on. I would also do a reasonable amount of backpacking research and go on at least one decent 2 day or 3 day before attempting. It is very dangerously steep near the top decent from the 3rd saddle also. It took my group around 8 hrs of backpacking to get there (one way) for reference. It could probably be done in 6-9 hrs roughly with a water break stop at the approx 1/4 spot and halfway spot, poles recommended, may contain fallen trees, trail is also not very maintained near the final 3rd of it, you would also be looking for the hum/duck lake trail head. This was also the most physically demanding hike I have ever done it is definitely a hike you would want to prepare for. If you still want to attempt it good luck! :) Also WHEN (not if) you get lost follow the stacked rocks! :) I got the chance to go on it with some of my extended family who had done the hike before! DIFFICULTY SCORE 9/10
