I agree. I am not seeing an easy way to create a map of my house and apply one effect to a group of 3 strings of C9 lights.

@@levilanz2714 After a few back/forth emails with their customer service explaining that some of us have 3 dimensional houses or might want to install them on a large outdoor tree, they eventually added 3d mapping for the C9 lights. I only have one string (for now), but you should try reaching out and convince them to allow the C9 lights to be used in groups.

You can set similar tones on the rgb such as yellow and cold white, but rgb lights don't have the metallic finish of the Golg&Silver edition which was made precisely to reach this tones, the colors are given by combining primary ones 😉 To know more check the dedicated article in the Help center, on twinkly.com

Hi James! When you link two or more devices the new group formed acts like a new device, since the elements in the group communicate among them and with the app, to synch. Therefore it's not possibile to have them shared in multiple groups 😉 Thanks for your idea though, we'll share it with our developers so that if feasible, we'll think about this for the future!

@@Twinkly 5 months later? FYI my router has both spectrums. Unfortunatley istead of jest allowing your tress to connect to the internet via an existing router it has to connect via its own wifi setup (totally stupid in my opinion). Due to my needs I will be upgrading my router to wifi 6 or 6E and as you are well aware my tree will not connect to the internet or my phone due to no 2.5GHZ channel. Would be easier to just rewrite yur app so it connects to your smartphone and just let the app use the phone as a pass through to the internet and stop driving people crazy with your antiquated setup. Oh and to answer your question, this past winter I was not able to get the tree to conect to my internet or app because of your rrecommened setup. Fix your shit.
