I tried a foam and gel and diffused my hair, but it was weighed down. 😢 I don't think my hair likes gel and only foams. I have thin slightly wavy hair and it weighed my waves down the gel. But I also hover diffused I will try your method of diffusing ❤ any recommendations for volume at the roots? My roots are flat 😭🫣

Do you have you own salon? I have wavy hair too, well more like a combination of types; some are curly, wavy, frizzy and somewhat straighter (aging hair can't decide what it wants to be). Unfortunately, my stylist never does all this or even most of it. Are there stylists out there that will do all this?

This was insanely simple and well explained. Always had curly hair as a kid, and since realising it’s not actually a bush but just very untamed waves I’ve been trying SO hard to get my waves/curls back. Why do you want curly hair . It is horrible, it knots really badly during the day and you cannot brush it during the day because then you just get fat hair that just sticks out with no control

Wow! So informative, thank you. As someone who's just now leaning how to deal with my own wavy hair, this seems like a lot for a wash & go.

So you go right in and pixie diffuse? I thought you're supposed to dry roots first, that's what everyone else says.

By sheer chance, I'm getting to live/see the difference between what wavy vs curly and coarse vs. fine hair will need when styling. My teen's thick yet fine hair began going curly at puberty and is now 3a while my own thick, coarse hair is a wavy 2b/2c. His routine is a shower or misting his hair to clump his curls and adding 1-2 pumps of air dry cream. That's it, his curls are shiny and fully defined for most of the day and he's off. My own hair requires leave-in conditioner, finger curling, and gel + hair spray for definition/hold plus a little hair oil to avoid frizz/puffiness. It also takes a minimum of 30 minutes to diffuse, even though it's barely at chin level. The other day I dried my son's hair with my diffuser and it took ...5 minutes. And he was whining with impatience, lol!

I NEED THE BEFOREE

This seems to work well but I can't buy a diffuser so I use hair dryer at a distance on low speed and I'm not buying foam and hairspray when a leave in and gel works fine for me. Besides I have issues with heavy scents and sprays that may get in my nose so hairspray doesn't sound like a good product for me

If you don't have a lot of money for products Just look at the conditioner part its still very helpfuls

When I want my hair extra wavy, I just wash it with a shampoo with conditioner then towel dry, brush it then bend over take it all and braid it from the top with my head still bent down and fold the ends and put an elastic at the end. When it’s air dried, take it down and don’t put a brush through it just bend my head down and separate it with my fingers and fluff it and there it is ❤ My hair is below my tailbone. ❤ Easy peasy❤
